Fished 2 to 5 today caught 6 northern. Biggest 26 not bad 5 to 10 ft.

I've been hitting Camp pretty regularly, but do to moving, I haven't had internet access for a while.

I had some of the best days I've ever had on Camp back toward the end of June and early July.

This past Saturday, I got about 6 bass, 8 northern. One northern went 25-26 inches, but the bass were very respectable for Camp, 16-18 inches, with one going almost 20.

Nice to getting into some bass, seemed the last few years were seriously lacking in the bass department, IMO.

@Ken.......Yes they did spray about 2 weeks ago and they had the signs posted at the DNR launchs.

Is it true that Camp and Center were poisoned to kill weeds, I heard from a few people, but nothing is posted either at the launch or any web sites I can find. Fishing has been lousey to say the least.

I talked a friend of mine who tried bowfishing out on camp like last week and didnt see much. so im thinkin its still a bit too cold for em to be gettin up in the shallows

There are plenty of carp in Camp.Around the first week in june go on the shore line and you will see them chasing the females around.

Hit Camp on Friday morning, floating minnows, crawlers and throwing twister tails. Late in the morning, found a few small gills, in shallow on sand. Slow day on Camp overall.

Yes there are carp in here.
