Was just wondering if you had results from the Chillarz bass tournament?

Thanks Jzzzz. Yeah, I rinsed them under cold water, patted them dry and let them sit out to dry for about an hour. I've gotten a few other suggestions on another thread and will try again soon. Thanks.

Was out this morning for a few hours. A few walleyes, a few cats and lots of smallies. Big dead northerns along the shorelines and in the snags. All in all a slow day. Watch you props!

Hey Guys, Anyone one out there have a good recipe/method for smoking white bass? My first attempt ended with curled up fishy salt blocks. I know I soaked them in brine for too long (3 hrs) and will cut back on that, but if someone has a tried and true method I'd like to give it a shot. Thanks.

Was out yesterday morning. Boy is the river low. Watch your props. Ended up with a couple of walleye and channel cats fishing with jigs. Nobody on the river. Fish were bitting good for a couple of hours then it got really hot and they shut off. Good luck!

Hey just wondering if anyone has gotten any cats, I love them and it's kinda a long drive for me so I'd appreciate it if someone had anything to say about them, I've put a lot of money into catfishin and have caught some nice channels but the flathead has eluded me. I know there are some nice ones in the wolf so if anyone had any words of advice I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks!!

Fished the river a couple miles north of Partridge Crop on 6/22. We fished the morning and late afternoon. In the morning we fished down into Partridge Crop picking up 1 small northern on our way to the lake. We picked up another northern and 1 15" largemouth bass when we got there.

In the afternoon we fished up river from the camp grounds we were staying at (Wolf River Trips and Campgrounds). We picked up 1 18" Walleye and 1 14" smallmouth bass and 1 10" largemouth bass.

All fish were caught on artificial baits (rapalas, jig and twister, ect). It's different fishing the river, but we gained some good knowledge about how and what to fish. This was our first time on the Wolf. All in all a slow but productive day.

Good fishing all!

well, fished yesterday afternoon for a few hours south of town, and got a few walleyes on cranks and 1 whitebass, made the milk-run of proven spots trying cranks spinners and minnows with only the one whitie didnt really see or hear of anyone getting them either, i think conditions were good and have been good for them to be up there but they arnt or atleast not in huge numbers, tried drfiting deep water as well to no avail, we'll see what some more rain and warm does and hopefully that'ss bring um up if not it may be a slow season in NL atleast, boaters were out and even a few skiers on the river as well which was crazy to me, but it wasnt terribly bad....

Hopefully we get a good rain later today, I think that would help the fishing.

Fished Friday 11-3. Couple of whites, a pike, a nice smallie. All caught on a beetle spin or vertical jigging.

Anybody wanna learn me something about catfish? Hoping to fry a couple with spicy red beans and rice sometime next week. THANKS!

Pitched spinners from 12:00-1pm in the shady shallows and either caught a whitebass or had a hit on almost every cast. White spinner with chrome blade did the damage--shed
