Caught a lot of bass 6/3 in the early evening on the south side of the island - 6/4 was the same by the Y camp - anywhere from 12 to 17 inches in size.

Fished about 7:30-12:30 today. Lots of boats and more came as I left! I only fished a few spots. Across from Sunrise Beach off the camp weed edge 6-12 ft. Caught crappies, some really nice sunnies, and some perch. Seem to be quite a few fish around. No pattern, although I used mostly minimites and jig/crawler. I did not keep fish today. Went across off the green boathouse door. Same. Saw a few guys catching fish, so must be the time to be out. Sunnies are squirting and got a couple big females, too. Next week should be good if you want them. Nice day....except when the rooster tails and jet ski guys came out, then time for fishermen to quit.

Caught a ton of crappies on 5/21 by the Y camp - most were good size with several slabs. Got a few bass that weekend too but nothing worth keeping. Will be going up again this weekend for bass.

Fished from 12:30 to 5:00 this afternoon. Caught two crappies. One female with a fat belly of eggs. Mainly fished shallower flats from 3-10 ft which didn't prove too successful. A few boats on the North End anchored up with bobbers but nobody appeared to be pulling them in hand over fist. Warmest water found was 51.9 degress. Hit both Wapo and Bear trap with a crappie from each. Both around 10"

We were out last Saturday afternoon. Some people were driving out still. Quite a few walked out. We took the 4 wheeler and sleds out. There was about 18 inches of ice in most spots we drilled holes. I don't know what the landings look like now, but they didn't look very good last Saturday. Lots of little fish on the camera, not to many interested in biting. Let me know how you do if you go out. We might try going out Sunday.
