MOON PHASE (86%)
Waning Gibbous

CONDITIONS
Partly Sunny

AIR TEMP
76° - 80° F

Was out from 11-4 till the storm rolled in. Started out hot for whites. Caught 4 in 20 mins. All on river rig and a medium fathead. Two males were still milking. Caught a good sized channel cat. Dead minnow on the bottom for that one. Saw some small mouths or crappies chasing bait fish in the shallows behind the gas station. Might try for them sometime.

hey guys, just signed up today. Went fishing behind the gas station in town yesterday. Caught a few whites, a few small sheep, and three perch. Whites and perch were on river rig with medium fat heads. Sheeps were on crawlers. Best tactic was dragging on bottom with very slow return. Tried some flies but wasn't very successful except one rock bass.

MOON PHASE
Full Moon

Fishing is still slow although the warmer weather has helped a little. Fish are still hard. Some being caught using fatheads on river rig. I used flies with light green and yellow with gold tinsel highlight getting the best response. Dead slow retrieve pulling upstream with an occasional twitch. Cross current not so well.

walleye fishing has been great all week...pitching jig n crawler, dragging eighth ounce and crawler and cranks have all been effective. The goats are starting to get a little more aggressive as well unfortuanetly. Been out 3 times this week and averaging a keeper eye every 15 minutes or so. These 5 were caught on 9 casts this morning in 7 feet of water rocky bottom. I havent been targeting whites but have heard they are very sporadic.....the time is now for eyes! As always red tracker pro series if you see me dont be afraid to idle on over. Third pic is from last weekend with the snow and cold i did manage a few lol

I'm planning to fish all week next week and I'd like to try around Omro . Last time I've fished this area was about 10 yrs. ago, I've since then have been raising three kids and would like to take them for some fast action white bass fishing. We will be fishing from a boat ,Any local info knowledge to narrow the search for fish would be greatly appreciated .Hoping the white bass are in the river and biting all over!

thanks, and tight lines to all!!
