Give it a day to get some of the 'bergs out of the river. I've had some go by almost a third of the rivers width.
Fox River Omro
Thanks as of now i have 12 boats locked in with a few guys on here possibly intersted....as far as the river goes haven't been to town yet but the ice is out just looked out the window....super super high water but it should start coming down once butte goes out completely. To be honest i belive the first wave of eyes are coming up already...we usually get them through the ice this time of year so itll be nice to switch to boats. Seems wierd to be saying it in February but everyone have a great 2017 open water season and good luck to all.....will post weekly at least as far as eye activities.
Just throwing it out there....curious as to if anyone would be interested in a small walleye tournament on the fox sometime in may this year? Kinda looking for 15 to 20 boats or so 50 to 100 dollars a boat 100 percent payout....been debating for a while whether to try to get something together or not kinda want to guage interest before i go all out with fliers at bars and all....could start at my place or a local bar doesnt matter i have room for 15 or so boats on seawalls by my place and in the immediate area. Let me know. So i can set stuff up....

No wakes technically means as slow as your boat can go and still maintain steering capabilities. Honestly I'd rather have guys go by my property wide open as opposed to plowing like a lot do. Seawall are not cheap. Just because somebody is not on plane doesn't mean it's no wake. I'm not trying to argue I think most of the guys who frequent the river know me and I'm not a instigator. The no wake I was referring to is del high up river from omro anyway.
