Does the float carry minnows? If not, where would the nearest baitshop be? I checked their website but it doesn't say. I typically fish Clements down in Genoa but have been looking at other places.

Conditions: Cloudy Air Temp: 66° - 70° F
Spent the night on the float with a friend looking cats, got a few decent ones through the night. Switched gears as sun came up, we both had limits of NICE gills within an hour. Bass action was slow as a storm front rolled in, still managed a few keepers. Thanks so much to Tim and Jim for the awesome experience on the float.

You can bring all your own gear, food, and bait or rent/buy it there.

Sorry not a report but was wondering if anyone could help me out with some info on this place. I went to the website but would like to know if you can bring your own bait, food, and fishing poles/tackle or if you have to rent or purchase everything there? PM if you'd like. Thanks a lot.

Did pretty good on 6-8-13. Lots of walleye, most were under 13" but we had a few over 15". White bass were hitting good also, and got some jumbo gills.

FISHING REPORT
5/17/13 9:47 PM CST
Conditions: Sunny
Went the whole day on the 16th and did ok. Surprisingly the largemouth were hitting pretty good. Only landed four largemouth but they were all healthy and fat with biggest almost 16. Buddies caught a bunch of em as well. Northern were hitting good as usual with many 20+ inchers. Some landed 16-17 inch walleyes near the faster current with some decent size perch. Sheep head were hitting like crazy which is typical. Someone also had landed a brown Trout which was rather amazing. Overall it was good. Bass seemed to like jerkbaits more than anything. Otherwise dissapointments were no white bass, high water level, and lost many good fish on suckers.

Anyone been out lately on the float? It is looking like the steady temps coming up should make for some good fishing. Please let me know if anyone has been fishing recently and how the bite was. Type of fish, etc...
