ICE REPORTS (all postings)

somewhere in excess of 18 inches on moose lake last sunday. i mostly used old holes but did drill one with my hand auger. probably more like 24 inches. one vehicle drove on but most are walking due to springs in the lake. plenty for walking on in langlade county anyways. if it ever warms up that will change.

Anyone have any current ice conditions to report around the Shawano area? Thinking about one last trip on the ice Sat. Appreciate any info!

I am going up to the dells for a seminar was hoping to get some ice fishing in all day thursday, but I have no idea what lakes are there and where to fish. Could use some help

Just hoping to get some info on the Manitowoc or sheboygan county lakes. with all of this rain i want to know if i can still hold a small tournament this weekend.

only about 3.5" of good clear ice on lake wisc. in the shallows about 1.5" of good clear ice out deeper. About 3.5-4" of frozen slush on ice and then like 5-6" in. of snow not good. Use caution on main lake.

5" ice on small langlade county lake. a layer of water and then a crust of ice and snow on top. be sure your boots are 100% waterproof.

Just wondering if any one made it out on Dutch Hollow this past weekend.

What a weekend of ice fishing. I was fishing in West Central WI, and the bite was good but the ice was very different. Myself and a few others went out early to the spot, and about an hour later the rest came. The later group followed out trail out and about half way two of them fell in. The snow on top does some crazy things to the ice right now. Use extreme caution out there!

Was on Jungle this past weekend, there was anywhere from 7 1/2" - 9 1/2" of ice, with a good amount of snow on the ice.

I whent out in st. croix county today. The ice was ok is some spots and in others it was just slush.Give it another week to firm up before you start goin all over.

I've been out too, looks like its gonna be agood year!
