No problem Jiggy.  Even if you think the shoreline is deteriorating, no worries,. There's only 1 to 2 ft of water for the first 100yds in summer, so its froze to the bottom for a long ways out.

MOON PHASE
First Quarter

No report, but quick question. Sounds like no problems getting out from red river, but want to confirm before heading up! Will be using a pair of quads towing flip overs. Anyone foresee any issues with the ice for tomorrow morning. Thanks in advance.

MOON PHASE (1%)
Waning Crescent

Spent the day out with friends chasing whitefish. Brought home 6, let go 5. Tough bite today, and not the size we got last week. Still got some for smoking later! After fishing last week for 3 days in a row, working the next 5, and fishing again today...time to take a break! Going to relax tomorrow!

Yeah there are quite a few guys out with trucks. You'll need 4WD to make it through some of the snow drifts. I'm not the greatest judge of distance but most were about 1/2 mile or so out with the trucks. A few guys with ATVs and snowmobiles were out quite a distance more.

MOON PHASE (15%)
Waning Crescent

CONDITIONS
Partly Sunny

ICE DEPTH
20 inches

AIR TEMP
21° - 25° F

Went out Saturday afternoon (1pm -sunset) with a buddy. 15 fow, slight southerly current. Had a slow start with most of the action coming after 3pm. I managed 6 using a gold swedish pimple and my buddy got one with a silver swedish pimple; hitting the hook up top.

Went out again in the same spot this afternoon (1:30-sunset). Best action was right away. Got one on the ice just a few minutes after getting set-up. Lost 3 more on the way up right after and then another one on the ice just before sunset.

Find 15 fow, and jig as you would for whiteys! BTW...yesterday, there might have been 10 people out there. To the 2 people in the white chevy who just HAD to park next to us, and drill your holes as close as you did...just remember, Karma my friend...
