Ice Depth: 13" Conditions: Cloudy Air Temp: 26° - 30° F
Well, went out today 7-1:30pm and got skunked. Like 12" Perch said the launch is great and thanks to whoever had plowed the area, may god bless his/her kindness. Started out in 5-6 fow with no fish, marked nothing and ice was 12-13". Moved to 8-10 fow and had one on, fought like a perch and lost'em on the way up, using a #2 black/gold rap tipped w/waxies, ice was 14". Marked a few in this depth range . Made another move after exhausted all my options to 20fow and absolutely was deader there with no marking of FISH and ice was 12". Overall drive on ice was smoothe w/no rough ice shoves. Where are the fish! Fustrated...anyone do better then me out here... Speechless

The landing is in great shape no cracks I saw passed two days, ice isn't super thick only 12 inches out about a mile from launch someone plowed a nice landing area before now just flat ice since we haven't seen much snow trucks should be fine just don't go further than a mile or mile and a half with out drilling first good luck tight lines let me know how you do will be out there in the quest of the tight lipped jumbo! They will fire off soon I can feel it. (Said that two weeks ago too) Blush

Yesterday a buddy and I went out of sugar creek, roughly 100 feet out was a crack opened about 2 feet wide. We were able to get my wheeler across it and less then 100 feet from that one another 6 inch crack was open. Please be safe when headed out, there looked to be an ice damn to the northwest and quite far out the north. We fished 19 feet with no luck went out to 29 feet marked one with no luck. lots of shacks set up farther out then we wished to travel.

Hey, I launched off of Cliff View Dr next to High Cliff Park in Sturgeon Bay this morning... While walking backing to the launch at 10am-12pm I had lost my Cabela's Fishing rod case that had three of my fishing rods and a bunch of my ice fishing tackles and along with my black diamond head lamp and was wondering if anyone had found it.... Didn't realize all my fishing gear was gone until I went to fish in lake poygan and drove all the way back to the launch on Cliff View Dr hoping to find but there was no sign of it..

I would appreciate if who every have it would return it to me please and thank you!!!!

Went out Sat.am. out of Red River to the north in 12 foot depths. Marked a couple of fish over a three hour period in the morning...no bites. Most had the same. People are driving around in trucks like me. Then I drove to 24 feet by Dykesville and drilled a hole with only 13 inches of ice! That made me a little nervous in my Fat Ass suburban. Talked to a guy with a cam who said some whities swam by but that was it. A guy walking up the hill by Bayshore had 4 whitefish and said some guys deeper than 15 feet caught many more. There was a small group out by 2 mile reef which suprised me. Wonder how they did.
