Found a few nice gills today.  Just using a small jig with wax worm in 8-10 fow. They seem to prefer a pink colored jig over anything.

Drove full size P/U Wednesday afternoon. Lots of lookers, few bites, but no catches. Plastics, tip up and dead stick minnow, hit but missed. Several vehicle out there. It appeared that someone broke through a crust of ice that had not fully froze through the rain puddle off the south shore landing (looks like they just got a scare). I went around to the south and stayed on top. It appeared that several other vehicles drove through the broken up part and made it rougher by the time I left at dark. Should be good by now. Good luck & stay on top!!!

Have there been any quads or vehicles out on the ice yet? I assume there should be plenty of ice.

Was out today from seven to noon. Same old usual, few crappies, some perch, lot of white bass.  What happened to all the bluegills? Maybe I'm not targeting the right spots but I remember a few years back being able to catch 10 or 15 for a meal…

Be very careful when venturing out. Was out Friday and we mostly had 6 or so inches but there were many spots that had 2.5-3" so be very careful.

Caught a couple perch right off the bat than a 2 hour lull. Wandered around drilling holes and ended up finding 2 hours of solid perch smashing with a few gills, crappie and whitebass. Most were fairly small but if the 50-60 perch caught I would say you could have taken 12-15 total home to cut. Everything was released.
