I was just out there this weekend doing some graphing and it appears as if the pier was fixed, nice and straight now.
MOON PHASE (7%)
It's probably due to recent high winds from a brief storm. An entry below does say the dock was okay at some point. One of the Gov Nelson piers, the one upwind, was also crooked, also anchored floating docks. bear
it's usable, once you get down you just have to cut to angle the boat so it doesn't smash into the pier, it can be a little tricky.
I contacted the dnr about the pier before someone gets hurt and was told it's owned and maintained by the crystal, fish, mud lake district lake organization.
Any idea who's behind the crooked pier install or if there was a reason for it? I don't believe it could have been an accident because the poles alone the pier are anchored in so that the pier can move up and down but holy geez it's crooked and makes it a bit more of a challenge to launch and load.
