Crappieking84 were they on shore or in a boat if. how is shore fishing here?

2 guys fished yesterday from 3-6pm.

Kept 27 crappies and 2 nice gills.

Jig and minnows.

Anyone hitting the Crappies yet? I was out last weekend and was only able to get into the bass. No pan fish at all...

Is the lake still no wake?

did manage some nice crappie sat evening.almost forgot how good they taste in the fry pan.

Was thinking of taking the boat out this afternoon but when I drove by the dnr landing which was quite flooded. There was no way to get to the ramp because some other inconsiderate fisherman decided to park their truck and trailers right in the driveway blocking the ramp. Please be considerate of others. There is plenty of parking along the road.

any crappie action yet?

Fished 1p-dark, 15'-16' near middle, out from launch, one flag = shiner stolen. Half doz dink bluegills and perch on tear drop w/ meat, half doz more bites on plastic, one dink. Rained all afternoon, very slushy leaving.

Out Sunday afternoon, along north shore high bank 8 - 12' of water. 1 flag shallow - spitter, no other bites.

I drove past fishlake the day of the fisherie and there was hundreds of people on the lake. looked like a small town.looked on lakelink but didnt sound like fishing was good there either

Decent turnout for the fisheree. Fishing wasn't that great. Winning weight of panfish was only 1.6 pounds, I saw the catch and yes it was not a great one. Fish and Mud lake were also open for the event, some northern were brought in biggest was 6 pounds plus change, but I believe all of them came from Fish. What few northern that were in this lake a lot of them died off last summer with the high temps. I personally never saw a dead one, but I know quite a few who did. Cant remember the winning bass weight, but I saw it and it was a nice little pig that I believe came from crystal. Good times were had by all. If you saw a convertable driving around on the ice with the top down, that was me

only there a short time from 2:30 till 4:30 so not sure how things went during the fishery
