FISHING REPORT
3/28/15 5:12 PM CST
Conditions: Sunny Air Temp: 31° - 35° F Water Temp: Below 40° F
Out from 7-3 today. 30 fish boated for two guys, and went through 3 dozen minnows. Controlled drifts through deeper holes with 1/4oz jig and minnow. Lots of short bites, so added stinger hooks and catch rate went way up. water is about 4 feet lower than usual years at this point. Brought home two keeper at 15 1/2. Now it's GO BADGERS!

Chucks Landing Is open and completely ice free. Just a couple of boats were using it on Sunday. There were also a few people fishing off shore.

Beans Eddy Is open and there were about 10 boats using it on Sunday. The water level was lower and there was some ice chunks floating down this part of the river.

Moon Dam Is open and ice free, but with low water levels it will remain unusable until the dam gates are opened.

Seagull Boat Landing Has only about 4 to 6 feet of ice at the end of the ramp. Most of the ice is gone on this part of the lake.

Dubay County Park The ice is starting to open up around the edges and the main channel is opened up.

Fished yesterday caught 20 or so walleye's 3 keepers. Most fish still down on the last bend of the river south. Slow dragging led head jigs produced for me. Nothing on Lindy rigs. GLF

The water is low, so the landing is very steep and lots of ice chunks floating around.

Water is on the rise although temps are still hovering around 33 degrees. No report on boat landing conditions.

What does the river and landing look like at Beans? Thinking the boat needs to get wet on Sunday.

If anyone is looking to catch some carp, suckers, or catfish the creek before you get to the beans Eddy boat landing has some of each in it. Was down there yesterday and caught 5 carp, 1 red sucker, and a 15" channel catfish.

FISHING REPORT
4/21/14 9:26 AM CST
Conditions: Sunny Air Temp: 56° - 60° F Water Temp: Below 40° F
Water has cleared up over the past week. Temps were 37 degrees and water level is still a little low. Current is still pretty strong but fish are hanging in the predictable eddy's. Most fish were caught sitting on edge of deep holes and dragging up the break. Fished from 1:30 to 6pm, caught about 50 walleyes between the two of us w/out any keepers, not surprised by that. A few fish were caught with just a powerbait grub but most were caught with a jig and minnow.
