FISHING REPORT
5/14/13 7:23 PM CST
Conditions: Sunny Air Temp: 81° - 88° F Water Temp: 51° - 55° F
Air temp started about 50 when we got on the lake about 8.

We ended up with a couple crappies right off the bat but then hardly had a bite until about noon. The fish were in 6 to 9' of water and about the only thing that worked was a crappie minnow about 5' below the bobber.

Ended up with 14 nice ones between 3 of us and probably tossed a half dozen back. Most caught between 12 and 2 when the weather warmed up and a few showers went through.

Rodgod, My group is heading up on the 23rd...does anyone catch any walleyes on this lake through the ice? Also, what depth were you fishing in? Any information would be appreciated.

FISHING REPORT
1/13/13 6:19 PM CST
Ice Depth: 9"
Fished friday and saturday during the fishery, was a very tough bite to say the least, had 9.5 inches of ice friday after the rain and saturday some of the holes had doubled in size due to the water running down them. still had at least 35 trucks and cars out there to spite the ice conditions. Caught maybe 15 keeper size gilz, crappys and perch and a ton of 4in large mouth bass between the 8 of us! No flags for 3 days either.

Ice Depth: 9" Conditions: Sunny Air Temp: 21° - 25° F Water Temp: Below 40° F
Fished 2:00 to dark. Took home seven nice gills and three crappie. Missed a lot of light bites and threw back about 10-12 more. Most of the fish came after 3:45. Also caught two small bass on the jig pole. Marked fish pretty much steady but wanted nothing to do with the bait until 3:45. The couple I caught before that came on a small black jig with a single spike.

The vehicles have started driving on and seem to be going everywhere, but I'll give that another week or two yet!

Ice Depth: 4" Conditions: Partly Sunny Air Temp: 26° - 30° F
Fished in the bay down the hill from the small parking area. 4-5 inches of good ice in the area close to the stumps. pressure ridge to the left with open water and bad ice. Tried to get across channel and not safe. Fish bite was very slow and only caught a few small perch and one gill, not good. Fished from 9 till noon.

FISHING REPORT
12/14/12 4:00 PM CST
Ice Depth: 2"
Checked Otter this afternoon, ice is not safe. 2-3 inches in the area that is below the hill where you can park in the small lot along the road. Much of the lake looks like a small lyer of bad ice that is maybe an inch thick. A couple of more days for sure. Be safe and good luck.
