Fish the rock the last to time out. It is slow for me a lot of looker and some taker it `will get better now the temp is up and the water is going down. I sould of had a 1/2 a bag today O well need to get it done next time. Stay on top Broz.

Freeze fish for at least 24 hrs. Thaw, cut into 1” pieces. Soak in salt brine, 1 cup of canning salt per quart of water enough to cover fish, cover and refrigerate for two days. Drain, soak in white vinegar, enough to cover fish for 2 days. Refrigerate. Drain and pack in jars layering fish and thinly sliced onoins. Pour picking brine to cover fish. Ready in 1 week. Picking brine: 7 cups sugar to 1 gallon of white vinegar, 1/4 cup of picking spices put into coffee filter secure to keep spices in. Heat brine to desolve the sugar. Cool. Remove the spice packet and pour over fish to cover. Refrigerate Enjoy

Went out sunday. Started on channel got a CPL small eyes. Slow bite. Moved into the bay in afternoon and went after northerns. Ended up with 3. Two mid twenties and one 37". Filleted it out and had some crappies in the belly. Gonna try pickeling this one. Anyone know any good recipes.
