Almost asked ya how your minnows survived...lol
Thanks for sharing Bob.
Rich and Tracy booked a morning trip on "The Rock" for today. We launched at the State Park ramp by the Buckhorn Bridge at 7 and worked some channel edges and submerged wood for a time without much success. We moved near the bridge where the current is flowing quite fast and the bite was hot for a couple of hours then started to slow by late morning. We boated about a dozen and a half walleyes, and they kept 2 for supper this evening, Rich also caught 1 nice small mouth bass. Most fish came on the dead rods close to bottom, only a few on the jigs today. The ramp is in good shape, and no problem launching. Water level is still down 18 inches and rising very slowly.
Keep a tight line!!!
Water is still low on the "Rock", A lot of water coming down from both the Yellow River and the Wisconsin River. Castle Rock dam reported, the water flow has increased to 27,393 cubic feet per second. Gates are still open below Petenwell dam as well. Won't be long and the "Rock" should be at summer time pool.
Guys are launching Boats from the state park launch, just west of the Buckhorn bridge!
Good luck be, Safe!
