Little Green Lake

Nice fish Dave! Great job teaching granddaughter how to handle/hold a fish!!

It's greened up pretty well.  I had water temps in the low 70's yesterday.  Too many floating weeds to troll the basin.  Visibility is about 1 foot.  The milfoil is starting to spread on the surface of the bays.  Our granddaughter and I were jigging the basin and she boated this musky on 4# test.

Curious if anyone could shed some light on little green's water clarity and how the weeds are. Is there a early summer algae bloom like some other lakes get? Never been on the lake before, but thinking of venturing out in the next few weeks. Any info is greatly appreciated! Tight lines and God bless

Aerosmith, how was the bass fishing ?

We had a Club Bass Tourney out there this past weekend.  It was crazy to see the amount of muskies up in 4 fow or less along the shore lines.  We kind of chuckled seeing all the people fishing for muskies out in the middle of the lake.

Any reports if the lake is bloomed up yet?

I found the water was clear to 6 feet.  The weeds look great!  I rolled 2 fish, one on a manta over the weeds.  The biggest fish I have seen in this lake followed my Jigterbug to the boat.  The only down side right now is the amount of weeds you have to cover to find fish.

A buddy of mine pulled this one out of here last year on opener. Fingers crossed we can do it again this year! Good luck everyone!
