What are they doing with the crane that was at the landing on K, was up there before thanksgiving and I hope there dredging at the landing wow was it shallow

This lake any good for crappie fishing hard or open water? New to this lake and its over an hour drive. Scrolled back to last year posts and saw nothing on crappies. Planning on doing some gil fishing this winter out here just curious on crappies too. Thanks

Water temp is 45° and super clear. Fishing for smallies they are only biting live bait. Using perch I caught three on Wednesday including a 19" 5lb. Sunday I lost three and landed four including a 20 1/2" 5.5 lb fish.
