MOON PHASE (12%)
Waning Crescent
Just missed a 20+ inch walleye above the dam on a tiny green jig I use for gills and cats. Thought it was a big cat at first until I pulled out of the water and was unable to get it over the railing of th ledge.

If you want Bullheads, head to Sinissippi. Plenty of them there.

Just a question. I've never fished here before and I'm looking to catch some bullheads. I've read they are plentiful in the lake. Just wondering if there's a good place from shore to catch some. Are they still biting as was stated in a previous post as I'd prefer to not drive 40 minutes to get there and put up a goose egg. Thanks

Is it just me or does the water level in the lake seem low. Looking around the shoreline it seems like water levels are low and then the next question would be why is there water being poured out down river like it was too high? Thought that the dam was to be somewhat closed when spring runoff was done.

MOON PHASE
New Moon

CONDITIONS
Sunny

AIR TEMP
66° - 70° F

WATER TEMP
71° - 75° F
Went early this morning. Caught about a dozen cats - all released. The later it got in the morning - fewer the bites - until it dried up completely. Minnows worked best. For those interested in bullheads - caught about a half dozen big ones on crayfish tails. Water very clear . . . part of the problem - especially on a sunny day like today.

MOON PHASE (4%)
Waning Crescent

CONDITIONS
Cloudy
Tried it for a couple of hours this afternoon. Caught a limit of cats - and missed again as many. Minnows & night crawlers under bobbers in about 4.5 FOW. Stayed on the east side of the lake - fewer weeds I think compared to the west; though that's where they were - near weed patches it seemed. Nothing to brag about size - all between 15-20" Spawned out too.

If you are looking for bullheads, go now. Was below the dam last weekend and can't keep them off.
