FISHING REPORT
6/11/13 9:14 PM CST
Surface temp 73, At least the big rock bass were biting. Gills I caught had eggs all small though. Vertical jigging and drifting a small hair jig and leech. After the second local pulled up next to me stating trolling is illegal I started second guessing the 80$ annual launch fee. Read the regs there is a thing called positional fishing.

FISHING REPORT
6/9/13 6:29 AM CST
Conditions: Cloudy Air Temp: 56° - 60° F Water Temp: 61° - 65° F
fished weed edges and shorelines looking for bluegills. found a few spots where the fish were stacked up thick but no takers. around boat docks the gills were active on the surface and easy to catch but the bigger ones were only 6". drifting along lilly pad edge picked up one 8". hope the water temp is slowing down the fish action and a few warm days will increase there activity. Water level is back up to allow a good boat launch again. the boat trailer parking lot was full by noon. the pleasure boaters were racing around already. JUST A NOTE REMEMBER THE NO WAKE RULE I am sure that the water police will be out soon and there were some new boaters putting out a good wake early in the morning. be careful or get a ticket there is no warning generally from the water police good fishing to all

The water was cloudy with a lot of old dead weeds floating. Used jigs with plastic and crawler chunks. Cold and very windy, light SE winds were forecasted (weatherman if you are reading this YOU SUCK Wink

FISHING REPORT
5/17/13 10:24 AM CST
Air Temp: 71° - 75° F Water Temp: 56° - 60° F
Gipper,

Was out Wednesday afternoon and the water temps were between 58-61 degrees in the areas we fished. The water in the north kettle was unusually cloudy so seing any bass or bluegill beds was very difficult..

Fishing was OK, some fish up shallow but they were pretty neutral..

Anyone have a water temp report on LC?

Wondering if bluegills are moving into the shallows yet. I have some pretty good info on some other local lakes if anyone wants to trade.

Let me know, PM me.

FISHING REPORT

Ice Depth: 15" Conditions: Partly Sunny Air Temp: 31° - 35° F Water Temp: Below 40° F
Fished from 8 to 4 ended up with 10 gills.Had to move allot stayed in about 14ft seen alot of fish, had a camera down.Found out you had to hook the waxy sideways then thay would take it. You had to give them alittle slack so they could suck it in.Other wise they would just have the end,and you would miss them.

FISHING REPORT

Ice Depth: 16" Conditions: Sunny Air Temp: 26° - 30° F
First time on this year. I thought I better try before the season is over. It doesn't seem to matter what lake you're on, the fish are tight lipped. Marked the bottom two feet after 2:30 until I left after 5:00, full of fish but no lips. Missed a couple light hits. Tried blk/silver, pink/white, orange. Not one fish on the ice. 18' in the Kettle. Still a nice day. 4 wheel drive and keep moving. This snow that is coming won't help. Firehunter

FISHING REPORT
2/4/13 12:46 PM CST
Ice Depth: 14"
Saturday, 02/02/13 REPORT:

Used a tape measure and the ice is 14 inches thick. Drilled 30 plus holes all over the lake, marked very few fish and didn't catch anything. Don't know how to fish this lake, I tryed everything. Only action I saw all day was a 20 inch snake caught on a tip up. I saw about 15 trucks out there and talked to just about all of them and that was the only action all day. Anybody have any tips to share with me to catch some fish on this lake? PM me if you wish. Just looking to fish this lake because its close to my house.

Thanks.
