They are coming soon. My buddy was fishing the mouth of the fox and said he was catching a lot of them, and that was a couple of days ago. We just need the colder weather to trigger them. I'll be coming up in about a week, so we'll see.

MOON PHASE (72%)
Fished yesterday 7pm till 10pm. 2 walleyes, 2 white bass and a small channel cat on chartreuse jig and minnow. One decent channel on a red and purple floating jig with leech on wolf river rig. Sheephead kept me busy. Lots of carp, kept foul hooking them on accident. Lots of fish jumping around.

Fished last night from 10pm till about 2pm. It was pretty slow fishing but it was fun! 1/8 chartreuse jig and minnow caught the most fish, mostly sheephead but I managed a nice 18" walleye and a white bass. Also caught a 33" flathead! Wolf river with orange floating jig and leech caught a 31" channel. Those two heffers made my night! Flathead taste great! Excuse my belly shirt lol.
MOON PHASE (59%)
Fished from 3pm to 8pm on the bridge. The weather turned out great. Lots of sheaphead caught on crawlers. Caught my limit with a nice bonus 8" perch! Wolf river with orange floater and leech caught the biggest walleye at 18". 1/8 chartreuse jig and small fathead/rosie red caught the rest. No white bass sadly.

Limit was a little slower coming today but still there. If you Linkers want some REAL tips, flag down one of those big Tournament boats that are flying in (but mostly out of) the river for this wekend's tournament pre-fish. I'm sure they can tell you where the real lunkers are and will probably be very happy to spend some time telling you all they know! We simple, local laymen are just hoping to find our five blind ones for the day. Zero trophies wanted.
