Skippy don't beat yourself up too bad ... Fishing became a little tougher this week with that rain that washed through the system.

The flow rate increased and the water became dirty where the last few weeks were slowly clearing.  That has made the getting bit part of fishing this week tougher.

Yesterday we managed 2 in the boat lost a couple and not for a lack of finding fish.. I watch my side imaging and there were plenty of fish around along the areas we were fishing but they just were either having a hard time keying in on the boats or just waiting for things to stabilize a bit.

Through last Saturday boating 20-30 fish a trip was not too difficult a task with most of the presentation I have been using, but the changes this week slowed that a bunch.  Hopefully Mother Nature will allow us to keep fishing the next few weeks as once this water clears up a bit again it should be game on until the bitter end.  :-)  FYI the picture was from Saturday. :-)

Fairgrounds pulled all the docks today, Fox harbor still has theirs in, but not sure how long.  I can't figure out fall fishing, not a bite today.  Winterized my etec when I got it on the trailer...... Done til spring.

If you buy a Hotspots map of lower Green Bay, the fox river should be included with that, at least mine was. I think I bought mine at Fleet Farm.

Where is a good place to buy a detailed contour map of the fox river?

Refuge dates typically expire with the opening of the 2019 inland fishing season. 1st Saturday in May I believe?

The current limit for walleyes on the Fox at DePere is 3 fish with no size limit.  This limit will be in effect until March 3rd, 2019, when it goes to 1 fish 28" or bigger.  This information is found on page 72-73 of the regulations.  The information on page 70-71 does not apply to DePere.  The fishing refuge also is currently not in effect, but I do not recall the exact dates it is in effect.  Fishing has been fair to good, with catches jigging in the main river channel, casting cranks in shallows, and trolling edges.  Capt Jerry
