Little Muskego

Watch your regs for Waukesha cty says county wide 3 walleyes over 18". 

Did fish Little Muskego today at Idle Isle park from 5.30 am to 8.00 am all around park,using tops,spoons,chatters,cranks.No bites.

Backtroller,can you share what was average size of the Pike you catch and what was the biggest? Appreciate it.

WOW, a few posts got jerked pretty quick...anyways on to a report....4 pike, 1 kept....6 or 7 bass , all released.....a few misses today.
Not bad for 3 hours.

Really really good day on Little Muskego.
4 walleye 19, 15, 15, 12. The 12 went back.
6 largemouth biggest only 16 the rest 12 to 14. All went back.
10 northerns boated Kept 2.
5 northerns lost at the boat.
6 bluegills. ?2 of them 8 1/2. inchers.

Started today on Phantom lake in Mukwonago, caught gills but like the last several years there, they were small.  Best maybe 6 1/2”. A friend gave us a tip and we put in this afternoon on Little Muskego.  We found nice gills almost right away around piers and other hard bottom areas. 

?Did some fishing at idle isle today, caught a few small gills. Saw that they have new ?piers and slabs in at the launch. It looked like they were finishing up putting them in today not sure if they are open ?to use ?yet or not but I saw someone’s trailer in the parking lot so they got out there!

Drove by lake today to check ice. Big open water pocket near island on SW side of lake. Idle isle park saw some footsteps that went all the way out to what looks like a crack and then turned around came back. I’m assuming a large crack opened up off the point of the island on the north side.

Looks like she’ll need a few days to firm back up, tread ice with caution now that it’s all snow covered following a period of melt. 

Hey guys—looking for some help! Hoping an honest fellow fisherman found my gear today!

My Frabill Flip over and all of my gear slid out of my truck bed at Janesville Rd and Moorland Rd in Muskego earlier today. Somehow I didn’t hear or notice it. If anyone has any info or saw something, I would greatly appreciate it. A reward will be provided for finding it!
