Anyone know if the water is flowing to fast to fish or the water to high below the plant?

MOON PHASE (70%)
Waxing Gibbous

Fished from 6:30 to 12:30 today. Bounced around hitting eddies and casting into the flooded timber. All fish came on plastics. They water temp was 41 when I got out and dropped slowly to 37 when I left. I assume it's because of increased flow and more melting snow and ice coming down. Ended with 4 slots, 2 legals, and a bunch of shorts. Everything released.

MOON PHASE (59%)
Waxing Gibbous

NotaFib- guys have been catching fish from shore, Mite be very hard to do with 3 gates wide open and a lot of grass, brush and leaves floating down river. River really came up today and is flowing very fast!

Joeywadu- Few of the slot fish and smaller females have been spawned out this past week. Caught a couple big females just before the big snow that were spawned out as well. last 3 days a big push of females, about 50% of these still had spawn in them. Few white bass have showed up the last couple days as well.

Fished today with a couple friends from 6 am till 11 am. Water temp was 39.9 when we hit the river, by the time we left the water temp was 44.3. They have all three gates wide open at the Nekoosa dam, water was really on the rise and flowing fast today!

Bite today was very good from around 7 am till 9 am, just about time the current really picked up. Plastics did the trick today, pitched tight to shore in slack water!

Good luck,be safe!

First Quarter

CONDITIONS
Sunny

AIR TEMP
61° - 65° F

WATER TEMP
40° - 45° F

Fished today with Shane and his son Tyler, We launched the boat at 7 am from the treatment plant and fished till 1 pm. Water temp started out at 37.8 by the time we left the river water temp was 41.2  A lot of good current today, two gates wide open, water come up 3 feet over night. A lot of leaves, brush floating down river today.

Today we started down river like the day before, after jumping from spot to spot and finding out that the fish had moved we ran north back up river to find a good area that held some nice fish.

Looking to get out on the river this week, I have the 24th,26th and 27th still open.

Good luck, be safe!
