Video of filleting whitebass, catfish, walleye, crappie and sheephead. You may find this helpful if you don't fillet a lot of fish.

Fished across from the park and down river today. Hit some White Bass here and there and a ton of Cats, kept 17. No legal Walleye, plenty of 13"ers. Back out tomorrow, not sure where yet.

Crappies101... EAT 'EM!

I take it you've never tried them. You should. Quite tasty, as many others have already mentioned on this thread and others.

Enjoy! Smile

Fish were biting really good. Fished Fri. - Sunday. Tons of White Bass and some large Crappies. All White Bass were unspawned males. Water temp 63 on Fri. 66 on Sunday.

Launched at Chester Creek (The Tubes). I was shocked at the lack of etiquette by other boaters. When I launched I patiently waited while 3 boats came out. Me and three other boats want to come out at around 4:30 pm. on Sunday and one after another people kept launching preventing us from coming out. There was a Woman ahead of me with a medical emergency onboard. I finally had to tell the next jerkbag to get his rig off the launch so that woman could come off the water.

People: PEOPLE COMING OUT HAVE THE RIGHT OF WAY!

I want everybody to have fun on the water but please be courteous. Thank you.

T-FISHERMEN I think The lure bar off hwy z and the petenwell pub rents pontoon boats. Was out today with 2 really nice guys from central wis. Guys the white bass are still going strong. Most of the large female white bass are spawned out and heading back to the lake. Few crappies still around but for the most part they are males. Still lots of small male walleyes in the river. No keeper eyes for us today. Small jigs tipped with plastics or minnows worked in slack water or over wood worked the best today for the crappies. White bass are being caught all over the river and on the north end of the lake. Jigs plastics i bright colors work the best Wink Wink Be safe this holiday weekend. See you on the river Big Smile

Fish this evening looking for some spots for this weekends guide trips.Water temp was 66 in the river tonight. Guys if you want white bass they are on fire!! Find slack water tight to the bank. Ened up catching a bunch of short walleyes, few crappies and all the white bass you want. Jigs with ringworms,or gulp worked the best. Be safe this holiday weekend and catch some fish Big Smile
