Water clarity has been better but what really matters is the fish are active! I've been having some great luck with Walleyes and Smallies. Can definetely tell the seasons are coming early this year with how the fish have been lately. You guys should have a blast out there. Good Luck!

Toothy Critter, I live near Wausau (the Dead Sea of bass fishing), and am looking to make a day trip lmb fishing. I see you catch some nice ones. Is Pelican a good lmb lake? If I drove up there would you recommend fishing the reeds for them or is cabbage better. Strictly cpr, I'm originally from the Milwaukee area which was LMB heaven. Just miss catching them up here. Any help would be appreciated.
