Planning on heading up to try this lake next week sometime, not looking for honey holes but if anyone would like to offer any tips or best places to access the lake feel free to private message me! Catch and release only for me. Thanks and good luck to all!

FISHING REPORT
12/8/14 10:46 AM CST
Ice Depth: 13"
Nice weather on Saturday, but the bite was not so nice. Had lots of hits but not many fish were landed, got a few pike and a walleye for the pan. Ice was in awesome shape 13-14" everywhere we drilled trucks driving all over. Snow is anywhere from 1/2" to 2" on ice.

Thanks for the Ice Report, Led Hed. I'm assuming only 7-8 inches of "good" ice. That slush we had froze and could create false confidence for folks wanting to venture out with their trucks. Be safe folks. Use your snowmobiles and/or ATVs.

Fished pelican over the weekend. Found 10 inches of ice in the bays. Didn't venture out to the middle. Fishing was slow for me only a few flags but all dropped.

FISHING REPORT
11/1/14 7:20 PM CST
Conditions: Partly Sunny Air Temp: 36° - 40° F
Fishing Pelican for the first time since August. Found my usual perch and walleye spots dead. Finally found a few nice perch in weeds adjacent to a drop into 12'-13' of water.

Shore ice this morning out about 100 ft in Mud Bay. Chipped up an oar at noon busting out the 3/4" ice.

Fishing was tough. Fished a crib. My partner and I both had one on of decent size early in the morning, but we both lost em. Nothing else after that. Finally tried another lake after 4 hours of nothing.

Survey personnel at the boat landing told me about the divers pulling weeds as the chemicals did not work. Statistically, all it takes is one floating piece of milfoil weed to get away, and the issue will return. Nasty stuff that weed is.

FISHING REPORT

Conditions: Sunny Air Temp: 76° - 80º F Water Temp: 71° - 75° F
Fished Pelican this past weekend. Walleye bite continues very strong, all total I caught about 40 walleyes, all on leeches and crawlers. Fish are on the gravel/rock in 18-22 feet of water. Fish were biting just about anytime of the day, used small jig. Fished ranged in size from 12" up to 20". Many legal sized fish were released for another day. Also caught several very nice perch fishing same gravel areas.
