Tried fishing here a couple different weekends for the first time ever with not so much luck. Always catch little perch but on the small end. Also sat out after dark for some walleyes. Had flags but only took out a couple feet of line and sucked the minnow off but nothing to show for. Wondering if I could get some tips from you Pelican lake pros? Thanks guys.

For the record, I know Shackertakr well and was just giving him crap about his nice catch. Everyone should be happy that guys are posting about their experiences while out fishing like the site was designed for.

toothy, you kind of proved my point by you and your buddy posting all the pictures todaySmile I never said you didn't catch fish, just calling you out on the BS. I still say the white bass wasn't 18", the photo is evidence. I called you out on the pic from 2014, you admitted it. Also, the picture was not taken in the flats, but maybe you moved the boat before you took the photo? I've fished the lake for over 40 years, I know it very well. (you should have seen the white bass fishing back then!) I'm just going to call it when I see it. Good Luck to you and your buds.

Full of nice skis , huge perch and a decent population of very nice Walleyes .. toothy , don't even let idiots get ya going , keep pounding the fish ... And I don't have to hide behind user name ... Hello fishing dudes this is Mrs Toothy Critter, been married to the old greater over 30 yrs & he lives to fish. To all you nay Sayers out there come on over as have a photo book to prove his success. He doesn't need to lie about what he catches. He fax a lot of practice & I know for fact that he is one of the 1st guys out on the lake every morning. Doesn't matter the weather. He doesn't always catch fish & will admit it. However he doesn't give up easily. He will tell anyone who asks him where he has had success or just general information. He has taken many people fishing & they always come back excited because they finally caught fish. He doesn't fish to be a "man" he fishes because it's fun, he's good at it & he does it A Lot. He will be more then happy to take any of you nay Sayers unless of course you're just an A-hole & just like to stir the pot! Happy fishing Boys!
