Second time fishing this lake this past weekend. Got this little guy in a foot and a half of water in some lily pads good tussle on bass gear
Water clarity has been better but what really matters is the fish are active! I've been having some great luck with Walleyes and Smallies. Can definetely tell the seasons are coming early this year with how the fish have been lately. You guys should have a blast out there. Good Luck!
Squash Lake-Rhinelander is a excellent SM Bass Lake. 3-5. Also Boulder Lake, East of Langlade is a excellent LM & SM Bass lake, just got off today and 2, 3lb SM and 4 LM. One LM 20 inches. I hope u release and don't "eat"!!! I flyfish only.
Toothy Critter, I live near Wausau (the Dead Sea of bass fishing), and am looking to make a day trip lmb fishing. I see you catch some nice ones. Is Pelican a good lmb lake? If I drove up there would you recommend fishing the reeds for them or is cabbage better. Strictly cpr, I'm originally from the Milwaukee area which was LMB heaven. Just miss catching them up here. Any help would be appreciated.
