Fished a couple of spots, with the best being between Antigo Island and shore in a 10' hole. This is more towards the east end on the south side. Got quite a few nice crappies and even a bonus keeper walleye. Looks like this is a good spot to hit now and again.

I took my kids out today for perch. We only tried one spot and didn't mark a thing- 23 feet of water. Very little slush spots. 4 wheeler or snowmobile travel only- 15-17 inches of ice but it is softer and somewhat white. The bottom 6 inches was hard/clear. I had my camper style shanty blocked up high two weeks ago and couldn't get out there until today. It either got blown off with melting because it was off the blocks by 8 feet . I moved it without any problem after chipping out the jack on the hitch. Moved to another perch spot.
I talked to another guy out there at the landing. he said the perch bite was very slow.
