MOON PHASE (1%)
Waxing Crescent

Was up this past weekend was windy Friday and Saturday. We fished all over the lake targeting docks and rocks.  We managed to get six smallie largest being 18 inches, one largemouth and one legal walleye which went back in the lake.  I ll throw another fish for photo patrol  but on my last post which has been corrected it now shows the 21 inch smallie. The fishing was tough for sure

Gom, the "photo patrol " are those posters that criticize a posted photo. On the Pelican thread a page back someone posted a pic of a small mouth bass stating it was a certain size and weight. Another poster questioned it's validity. You will see that all ove Lake-Link. Wether it is questioning a specified size, not being of legal size, too many for a single bag limit (even when the poster specifies WE caught these. These posters critical of a picture or written report are almost always ones who never post a meaningful fishing report or comment. Because of those I seldom post reports any more, rather I do message with a select group that we share meaningful info.

MOON PHASE (43%)
Waning Crescent

Fished Saturday, Sunday, Monday. Fished at least 10 different cribs. Fish on most, but they were very tight-lipped. Caught very little Saturday and Sunday. Yesterday caught 5 walleye, kept 2. Also caught a few good eater sized gills. Caught some bass and northerns casting, but that bite is pretty slow as well. Beautiful sunrise on Sunday morning.

What is this "Photo Patrol" I am seeing people mention?

I am looking to fish this sometime in September, haven't been out there in some years.

Anyone still fish this lake or are we afraid of the photo patrol?  Anyway, coming up Friday through the following Saturday. Any recent activity you may want to share is appreciated. PM's are welcome
