Bass fishing has been real good find warm water near reeds or back in bays.water temps have been improving seen a 3 degree increase in past 2 days any were from 58 degrees in main lake to 62 degrees in bays.weeds are scarce in a Lot of areas we normally fish and reeds have been taken out by ice there are some reeds still standing but 80 % were taken down.seen several dead fish shallow in Muskie bay had puncture marks on sides.there r nets laid out on the main bar on east side and also nets on the west side of the island by lakeview before the rock bar by shore.the kids did great on the bass but have not seen any Muskies yet
Was a very productive day on pelican lake. The fish were biting well within the first ten minutes had three small mouths in the boat. Caught a total of six on the day. Worked the rock bars and caught a lot of decent sized fish. I caught a 19 inch walleye that slammed my crank bait on the same rock bars. Heading out tomorrow to finish up my trip here
