People still driving on. Ice conditions are still pretty good. Brought home 9 gills 8-9 inchers and 3 ten inch crappies. Not sure how long the landing is going to hold up.

Went up to check ice depth. Solid ice, 4" at least 25 yards off shore at Cedar Bay resort. About 10-15 people out fishing.

went to marshmiller the other day.. wow that lake is now green..  and smells.  used to go here twice a month in the 90's and early 2000's.  Would catch plenty of different size bass.. the other day I caught 1 bass.  Missed more than a few northerns which I was grateful for.  Anyone know the status of the lake?  Just seems to be die'n?  Maybe all those bass tourny's that would be twice a month for years took there toll.

Landing was open to everyone that paid a launch fee at the bar the last time I was there (2015?). I think it was 2 bucks. Nice landing--would handle a pontoon no problem.

Is the landing at birch point public? if so, can one launch a pontoon with bunk trailer? Thanks!

Anyody have any feedback or information on Beaver Lake near Marshmiller lake?  How is the panfish fishing?  Size of the bluegills and crappies?  Is it a good fishing lake overall?  Direct message me if possible with all the info.  Thank you!

The ice condition on Sunday was very good but fishing was terrible.   Fished for 3 hours with my wife and we caught only 4 and 5 perch but they were about 4 or 5 inches.  Neither crappie or bluegill nowhere to be found.  Did not know where they went.  There were some marks on the flasher but only dinky perch to show for.  Did anyone do it well lately?
