The ice condition on Sunday was very good but fishing was terrible.   Fished for 3 hours with my wife and we caught only 4 and 5 perch but they were about 4 or 5 inches.  Neither crappie or bluegill nowhere to be found.  Did not know where they went.  There were some marks on the flasher but only dinky perch to show for.  Did anyone do it well lately?

Anyone been out lately. My 8 yr old daughter wants to fish and I haven't been out in 15 yrs. Thus was always a good lake to catch some fish on. Just wondering if the bite is on?

Fished this afternoon just out from Cedar Bay on the north side.  Several small perch, towards 4pm, caught several nice 9 to 11 inch crappies.  They were very aggressive, as soon as you jigged near them the fight was on.  About 9 to 10 feet of water.

What were they hitting on? Waxies, minnows, just spoons? Much appreciated

Fished north end in front of Cedar Inn yesterday and today. Saw fish on the vex yesterday but couldn't get them to bite except for one 6 inch crappie who got to go back - I don't like his odds though with all the pressure on this lake. Heard people talking about catching shiners so I'm guessing that's what most of the fish I was marking were. Didn't even mark a fish today. Tried south end today for an hour then to shanty town on the north end. Counted 27 vehicles on the ice today, all close together in front of Cedar inn. Decided it was time to leave when a full size truck parked next to my shack. All the noise from the constant power augers the drinken fools made it even worse. Glad I didn't bring my boy out here for his first trip. Goodbye Marshmiller.
