For muskie target the north shore shallow 3-6fow in spring and the western sides of the islands. In summer troll the basen around all the bait.  Water clairty hasnt been the greatest past few years tuff to see a follow remember to figure 8 

Son drilled a couple hundred holes said11 inches most of lake. Watch out for inlet by Blackhawk trail and outlet by Indian pt. Good luck to all

Hello. Looking to try my luck musky fishing this lake this year. Not looking for any secrets. Just some info where to start. Amy other information would be awesome. Thanks in advance for any help. 

Anyone know the Current ice conditions?

Was out Saturday fishing was slow out in front of Hayes. 10 guys 6 flags all day. One 30.5 inch pike.
Ice was 12 inches where we were. 

Anybody have an ice report that’s current? Haven’t been out in a couple weeks and was thinking about going out this weekend. Probably just go on foot, maybe snowmobile if it’s still safe enough. I know about the utv that went through at town park.

A large UTV went through the ice at the Town Park landing this afternoon. Be careful people

Going fishing Sunday night with a friend, haven't been on the lake in a good month and taking the ATV with me I'm wondering how the ice is I'm sure it's ok but is there anywhere I shouldn't go with it looking to go around the maple point area. Thanks

The town park on Blackhawk trail on the north side.

Is there public access from the north end of the lake? I am aware of the launches by the restaurant and the far west end. Thanks in advance.

Perfect solution. Wednesday before the fishing jamboree Town Park was in great shape. It took 11/2 days of full size trucks pulling wheel houses to trash it

Maybe we all don't drive trucks on it anymore so we don't trash the landings early? 

How’s the ice holding up for truck travel?  Would like to come up tomorrow morning.

if anyone is fishing Fox tomorrow afternoon with a wheeler, I’ll gladly compensate you for helping me drag my sled to my fishing spot tomorrow. I plan on parking off of chief Kuno Road at the entrance of the lake.  can pay in beer if necessary! Thanks so much. Chris.
