Checked out the landing on Sunday. Someone plowed out a few hundred yards. Only a couple of people fishing right off the landing at 7:15 am Sunday. Tried Big Arb and walked out on the sno mo trail which was ok going. Off the trail was not pretty with over a 15" of snow and water in the bottom 4". A wheeler would be useless other than on the packed sno mo trail, see if the warm up and potential rain settles down the snow.

Very sorry but I didn't actually measure thickness. I saw all the trucks out there so felt safe with t he sleds. I'd say there was 16-17inches anyhow.

There were quite a few trucks out there on 2/17 and 2/18. Didn't really see anyone get stuck but we were out on the sleds. Big gills in 15fow and got some slab crappies in 24 fow. Follow the beaten path and you should be o.k. Good Luck

Had a great week fishing the lake, started out slow due to cold spring but water warmed up nicely over the week. These are two nice fish, the largest Musky wouldn't fit into the net..... so we got a bigger net!

Went out for a few hours this afternoon. Beautiful day to be on the ice. Moved around quite a bit trying to find the crappies, however it was non stop perch instead...all day. Every hole. On the bottom, suspended, a foot under the ice. Mostly 6-8 inch fish that got annoying after a while. finally checked out a decent gill spot and caught lots of small to medium size gills and a couple of rock bass. Only managed 2 keeper perch and a few keeper gills. Genz worms and spikes for the gills, same presentation worked fine for the perch but they were really nailing a buckshot spoon tipped with plastics.

Had a great weekend out on Little Arb. Weather was on the chilly side, so the motivation to go exploring was traded in for the shelter, heater, adult beverage combo. Got on terrific big bluegill action in 15-17 fow. Kept a pile in the 8" - 9" range for a fish fry. Green or pink outfished blue and red jigs. Both waxies and spikes worked equally well.

Didn't find the crappie's this year and as mentioned above gave up after a while with the temps. However the tip-up action made up for it. Picked up 9 or 10 pike over the couple of days with the biggest at 31". Also got a bonus 21" walleye one evening.

All in all another good time. Thanks for the updates
