Would love to be able to tell you, lol, went out wednesday tried getting of the shipyard bar, got stuck before i mafde it 4 feet, brand new tires, on a four wheel drive SUV. The snow is wayyyy deeper than it looks its hard on top but you break through and its like 3-4 feet in some spots, the drifts are horrible after this last week of wind. Thanks to the guy in the chevy truck with the winch on front for pulling me out!! it was brutally cold shoveling!

Does anybody know if the panfish are biting out here? If so, where? Not asking for exact spots but general areas.

Fished a couple spots deep and shallow Tuesday for pans. Only a few marks and they wanted nothing to do with minnows, waxies, or red/white spikes.

Well fished the derby Saturday, and it was pretty pathetic. Only 3-4 panfish were weighed in and then a few northerns but still not nearly as many as one would expect from a good day of fishing. I personally never set the hook and marked maybe 8 fish all day on the vexilar, I didn't see anybody catching much of anything.

Get a map and never drive over the main channel. lots of shacks were just outside the park bay a couple weeks ago. Go to right from the landing and go around the point on your left.

Ok, I am confident there is plenty ice to hold a vehicle, however are there any cracks or known heaves that someone should watch out for driving on the ice tommorrow? I can find my own fish, and don't need that advice. I however am not familiar driving on this lake, I will be driving on from the landing on County E in the park. Thanks for any info you guys may have.

You tell 'em casey, give them a piece of your mind - small piece though, kinda like that chub your giving out Big Smile. If you have nothing useful to offer the guy, like invest in a lake map or hire a guide or point him to an area, why get you eyes crossed up? Have a drink, relax and enjoy the day! Wink
