How are the panfish biting out there? Would like to make one last trip before the ice is gone.

SO FIRST OFF I WANT TO THANK ALL THE FISHERMEN THAT MADE THE ST. JUDES TOURNMENT A GREAT SUCCESS. THE BAR WAS BUSY ALL DAY AND THE RAFFLE/ PARTY WAS GREAT. IM GLAD I GOT TO MEET SO MANY OF YOU. I DIDNT GET OUT ON SUNDAY DO TO THE CLEANING AFTER BUT HE IS WHAT I HEARD. SLOW, BUT IF YOU FOUND GOOD OXYGEN FLOW THE FISH WERE THERE. THE BOARD HAD A FEW 13.5 TO 12.5 CRAPPIE ON IT AND ONLY ONE EYE WHEN I WAS THERE AT 1PM. NORHTERNS HAD QUIT A FEW AND THE BIG GILL WAS AT 7 3/4. MOST PPL THAT CAUGHT FISH WERE USING ROSIES W/ SMALL TREBLE AND TIP-DOWNS. SAW ONE TIP-UP POP INFRONT OF THE BAR, ONLY TO BREAK OFF. I WILL BE UP LATER IN THE SPRING TO TRY THE POST SPAWN BITE WITH THE BOAT. REMEMBER TO STOP BY THE BAR TO SHOW OFF YOUR CATCH AND GET THE FISHERMEN SPECIAL.

I cant wait tell summer and get the boat up here a couple times. so stop by shipwreck castaways and say hello. I will report the final weight ins and any info I get from Sunday out there.

Would love to be able to tell you, lol, went out wednesday tried getting of the shipyard bar, got stuck before i mafde it 4 feet, brand new tires, on a four wheel drive SUV. The snow is wayyyy deeper than it looks its hard on top but you break through and its like 3-4 feet in some spots, the drifts are horrible after this last week of wind. Thanks to the guy in the chevy truck with the winch on front for pulling me out!! it was brutally cold shoveling!

Does anybody know if the panfish are biting out here? If so, where? Not asking for exact spots but general areas.

Fished a couple spots deep and shallow Tuesday for pans. Only a few marks and they wanted nothing to do with minnows, waxies, or red/white spikes.
