So we caught a dozen shorts on wood flats tonight is it a good idea to hit channel south of dubay Dr for action
We will be on ice tomorrow see you then
Coming up from se Wisconsin just checking to see if there is too much snow for 4wheeler traffic. Also is fishing between 34 bridge and cty db a waste of time? Have a few spots in mind from marking stumps and wood in open water. Pm if you want.
Toodles, you should avoid lake Dubay all together and venture out on the river. Way more action and easier to find the fish. If you must fish Dubay, tiki bar and the county park are community spots so be prepared for company. I would suggest trying the woods point area around the neck down.. Pm me if ya want more info
I am in town for a pool tournament but would much rather be fishing. Looked at navionics and this is the best lake without having to venture onto the Wisconsin river. I am not looking for spots to go but rather any spots I should avoid on Lake Dubay. Any help would be much appreciated.
Fished from noon to 4:00 on Sunday off the county park. Trucks everywhere. Had a dozen tip downs out in 15-17’. Lots of action for the kids, but few fish. 1 ten inch Crappie, 1 large White Bass, half a dozen dink Walleye. Kids broke a couple something off. Pretty typical Dubay day, but decent weather for a change.
Tried with Catitude again. Fewer fish on locator, but same result. They would chase but not commit. Did mark a fish 10’ down in 25’ Of water, reeled up to it and got it to eat . Nice 12” crappie. Moved a tip down into the hole and set at the same 10’. Never had a hit.
