Zero,
According to the DNR website, the bag limits are for the twin chain, which includes both lakes. The minimum is 15". As I understand the rules, you are allowed 5 eyes per day, per man but you can only take two from North and/or South Twin. The rest of your limit would have to come from other lakes.
You can lookup the rules for a specific lake on the DNR website.
I grew up on South Twin and I remember when there was no size limit and a bag limit of 5 in the early 1980s.
Good luck and tight lines.

North and South Twin are considered the Twin Chain and is considered to be one body of water.
The DNR has a link on its website to search for specific lake regulations at: http://infotrek.er.usgs.gov/apex/f?p=wdnr_fishing_regulations:home:7018848765512467
Here they state the following for North Twin: "Bag limits are for fish caught in all lakes in the TWIN CHAIN including TWIN LAKE, SOUTH"

Hi,
Please verify the daily limit this year is two over 15".
Can we take two from South Twin, put them in the cabin, then take two more from North Twin?
If we do that and take one from another spot (on two different days), can we have 10 total in the freezer?
Wishful thinking?
Thanks.

Bill is right and I was hopeful. The whole South half of the lake is locked up. Last night the Phelps landing was closed, but not by much. I have not checked it today.

Any guesses on ice out this year? Last year was very early. Looks like this year will be very late. I wouldn't be surprised if the ice came off more than a few days before the opener.

Travel is tough. Snowmobile is the only way to go. 4 inches crust, 8 inches slush, 20 inches ice. All the 3-4 inch perch you can catch. Couldn't find the nice ones and cant travel much to find them.

I would like to thank Gary and Mike at NORTHERN EDGE SPORT AND MARINE for their great service this past winter season.
I had a snowmobile that had a gas line leak and I needed an emergency repair, it was quite dangerous to continue to use it.
I first brought it to Land-O-Lakes Recreation to see if they would repair it. They would not have anything to do with it, I guess I had to have purchased it from them in order for them to look at it.
But Mike and Gary took me right in and I was up and out with in a half hour!
Thank you Gary !
