FISHING REPORT
8/4/12 8:11 AM CST
tried fishing a couple spots with leeches and pike suckers. Only managed a couple little pike, lots of 10-13 in. largemouth and a smallie. The little guy had fun catching all the bass though even though they weren't real big

Heading up to little crawling stone lake in a week for a family event. I have never been there before. Just wondering what the pike, bass, and walleye fishing is like on this lake. Any information would be appreciated. Will report when i get back

Rick Domini lives there, also Kurt Justice from Island sports in Minocqua. I would go with Rick first for crawling stone- both excellent.

Does anyone guide a lot on Big Crawling Stone (or Little) or does anyone have the names and phone numbers of anyone that does?

Shouldn't have any problem with the channel. They dug it out and put rocks up to hold the bank back a year or two ago. Much nicer now. Good luck.

Great spot to be. I Guide there often. Musky action is good on Little and Big Crawling Stone. Walleye is great on Big Crawling and Fence. Good Panfishing on Little Crawling and many of the other lakes on the chain. I think you will be happy with your stay. Get some maps and start exploring!

We will be staying up there this July, never been on this lake before. Just wondering what this Lake is good for fish wise. I am looking to do some Musky fishing if the lake is good for that. Otherwise Panfish and Walleye would be fun. Would apprrciate any information you can give. Thanks

It has been several years since I used it, but the landing is fine for any size boat. No pier but the water drops fairly quickly so I was always able to push my boat off shore and hop in. The channel to Big Crawling Stone was always shallow. With the low lake levels of recent years this could be a problem. Good luck.
