I'm new to the area. Anyone know if there are any fish left in this pond?

DVANG ITS IS ON MAIN STREET IN MENOMONEE FALLS TWO BLOCKS FROM INTERSECTION OF APPLETON AVE AT THE DAM. MAIN STREET IS ALSO BROWN DEER ROAD UNTIL YOU CROSS HWY41/45 IT CHANGES TO MAIN. ITS BETWEN PILGRIM ROAD AND APPLETON AVE AND HAS A SMALL PARK RUNNING THE LENGTH OF THE IMPOUND. A NICE PLACE TO TAKE LITTLE KIDS FOR LOTS OF LITTLE FISH, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING BIG BECAUSE ITS WAS DRAINED ABOUT 4 YEARS AGO FOR DAM REPAIRS.

Out again today from 2:30-5:30. Only managed about 30 gills and one bass. Most on mister twisters.

Was at the pond today for about 4 hours and caught probably 100+ gills between me and my friend. Of course all of them were small except for a couple 8"ers in the mix. No bass today that surprised me. Two small bullheads and that was it. Fishtoe

Took my two younger sons to the mill pond Sunday Evening- unable to find live bait nearby so casted for an hour from 7:50-8:50 p.m. Caught 11 in largemouth on beetle spin on first cast near Roosevelt Ave. bridge, then shut out rest of night. Water level is low and tough fishing with anything other than surface lures. Lots of algae near shore lines made it difficult for youngsters, but good practice for them ahead of this week's fishing trip to Wisconsin River.

I live relatively close to this area but never thought of fishing it. It sounds like it produces fish pretty well. Any tips on baits and lures for a first timer at this spot? I enjoy fishing the small streams and ponds in the Germantown/Menomonee falls area. Any tips are greatly appreciated. Thanks!
