MOON PHASE (87%)
Waning Gibbous

Caught 12 whitebass yesterday and 2 catfish.  In about 4 hours kind of slow. Eggs were getting soft. Good luck.

MOON PHASE (87%)
Waning Gibbous

Fished from the shores early yesterday morning until mid afternoon. Fishes were slow to hit. Minnows didn't work well for us. Caught a dozen or so on crawler's before moving onto New London where we landed 54 WB using shiners on a river rig.

Update? Any one getting good numbers from shore... a few boats getting them good in Fremont last weekend but don't have access to a boat this weekend! Thanks!

MOON PHASE (19%)
Waning Crescent

CONDITIONS
Sunny

AIR TEMP
56° - 60° F

Fished from omro to the dam. Caught a dozen white bass, 2 northerns and 1 small mouth bass. It was really slow. Saw 1 guy catching them on every cast he was in a hole that was on fire no one around him catching anything. Was still nice to get out. Tight lines gentlemen good luck.

A whole lot of nothing going on there. A lot of people fishing but no catching. I tried minnows, leeches, and some flies. Nice weather but I'll be back when it's warmer and not so muddy.

If you want to shore fish go up to the next road past the one you would take to the boat launch and park your car then there is a little bridge you can walk over to the large island in the middle that you can shore fish off of. There is a public pier there but sometimes it is very crowded. All depends on the day.

Woodchoppinguy, the launch I believe you are referring to is the one that is above the dam. It is accessed by going over the bridge in Eureka  taking first left, and going past campgrounds to next left. The only other public is the one in town. IIRC it is just a gravel launch with no slab, but it's been quite a few years since I stopped at that area. Good luck and tight lines

Isn't there a launch near the dam?  The DNR says there is:

If you are bringing a boat launch in Eureka. If shore fishing and you want to fish near the dam google Eureka Dam Campground and the dam is the next "road" upriver.
