there used to be a picture on the wall at east shore bar of a musky cought on the east end...i beleive it was in the upper 40" class. if you fish rollingstone, stop in to walleye lodge and ask kenny if there are muskys in the lake, he has lived and fished it most of his life.

Unfortunately bassmaster there aren't many big fish in this lake. Luck, luck luck. Just like pickerel, lots of small 12-20 inch northern. Now dont get me wrong there r nice fish in both lakes. We've caught 30+ inchers on both lakes. Its all about being in the right lace at the right time. The only thing that would help insure bigger fish is bigger bait. Try a larger shiner or sucker. Other than that theres not a whole lot you can do on Rolling Stone. Good lake for panfish in the winter too. Lot of people overlook them and just go for northern. The way i look at it might as well fish for sumthing to eat while im out.

Ice Depth: 24"
Went out with a group of ten this last weekend, managed to have consistent action all day with a few more bites coming in the evening, we only targeted northern and almost all fish were small.(no fish over 25") Anyone have any tips on catching some of the larger fish this lake???

FISHING REPORT
1/29/13 4:09 PM CST
Ice Depth: 18"
I was out on Rolling stone last weekend, and the perch and gills were biting in the morning but would shut off by 10 and not pick up until right before dark again, but tons of northern but only 3 over 25". Ice was perfect everywhere, people driving everywhere, but the landings were not the greatest
