People are going through? Isn't the ice plenty thick yet? Haven't been here since the rain came and would like to try for some pannies this weekend. Thanks for any info.

I can think of a few other manitowoc county lakes that could use a smaller pike limit... maybe 1 fish a day any size?

i agree some lakes should have the size limit dropped just so we can clean up those lakes, i have been fishing cedar since the 70's and this has always been a problem there. although i did get a 38" there about a month ago and during the summer i have seen several over 30 sunning themselvesnear the Dr's log cabinso there are a few left but not many.a slot limit would be a great idea keep from 16-24 and throw back everything else.hey king...theres still plenty of fishing here on bago.

I agree.. Drop the size limit. We caught and released 25 northerns this year and none were over 24". Will be looking at other lakes next year. My thanks to the person that plowed the road to east from Cedars.. Didn't have to use the snow blower as much to get the shanty off.

I talked to a guy that lives on the lake today. He is going to a lake meeting with the DNR to discuss the Pike issues. He doesnt fish but feels the lake is over run by Pike. He will ask the DNR to drop the size limit for a couple of years to clean out some pike. I told him, myself and many others would agree. Hope it happens .

There was a 28in Pike cought on Sat for the fisheree. We had a 25 and a halfer today with more 20-22in.

Time to hit Bago a couple of times yet then call it a year.

the snow is deep got stuck when trying to get out by the weeds sticking out of the ice. stayed on the road and drove off at the last point and didn't go far from the road and was good.

As far as I know, its been awhile since a eye has been cought. All the bass had to be released for the fisheree. Not sure how much snow is out there. I sure hope the wind blow a lot off.

Hope to see many guys out there this Sat for the fisheree!! I'm signing up today at the bait shop.
