nick67,I use to run a resort on Squirrel, and found most of my eye's on the north end of the lake, which is on the right side of the boat landing, also rate across from the boat landing on both sides of the north point. hope that helps.

I've heard this lake is good for spring smallmouth fishing. Can anyone help with when they start biting, where, and what to use. C&R. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hay guy's - I'll be up at Squaw lake in June and was hoping to check out the action on Squirrel also. Any thoughts on spending time on one or the other.

Pikepounder, i cant find your LL email. Try musky Shores for a resort. I know they have cabins you can rent out. They can also give you some information on other places to stay. Here is the number. 1-715-358-2301. They should help you out. They have good food too. Try the blackened fish.

Good Fishin Steve
