Long Lake, Racine County (all postings)

no public access, their is a unimproved launch for subdivision but no parking anywhere......

is there any public access for boat launching on this lake? wife and i are strictly catch and release and this sounds like a nice place to try just to pass some time. somewhere new.

fished sunday 3-730 with a friend...........caught many bass, on spinnerbaits, topwaters, swimbaits, few accident gills most fish along weedlines!

threw topwaters for a couple hrs last night 6-830....SLOW!!!! caught 3 sm bass, also slow for my neighbor as well

caught about 100 crappie between me and the ol man.........let em all go still got a few fish in da freezer and didnt feel like cleaning

took a few casts just before 11am, 3-4 boats fishing, and i caught nothing

took a buddy out for a couple hrs.yesterday caught quite a few crappie, gills, perch, seeds, and a couple of nice size whitebass..........only ever caught 1 till then in here..........all fish caught on plastic 2-4 fow

caught quite a few panfish of differnt types from the boat midday, and then with my youngest from the pier in the evening after dinner.....ice jigs piece o crawler and a float 3-5 fow

gills bit pretty good the for the 30 min i fished just now.... piece of crawler ice jig 4-5 fow all released and almost all were keepers for here!

There is nowhere to park. Its actually a fire lane and not a boat landing. Unless you have someone to drop you off and pick you up the lake is essentially inaccessible during the open water season.

I have noticed this lake before when I have been to Waubeesee. I see that there is a launch but no parking. Anyone know where to park on this lake? PM if necessary. Any help would be nice. Thanks.

1/4 of the lake is open here from what i can see as i type this

was just out for 1/2 hr and caught 1 nice crappie, bunch little gills and perch, open water, think i'm done on here for the year!

was out today with a buddy from 730 to 430pm bite was slow had to work for them. we cought about 40 fish mostly small end up with about 13 keeper gills an one perch all on waxys and spikes in about 15 feet of water also got one bass and one northern both to small to keep but still fun to catch. ice was cracking all day kept the blood pumping.dont think there is to many days left.
