FISHING REPORT
1/26/15 8:02 PM CST
Ice Depth: 18" Conditions: Cloudy Air Temp: 16° - 20° F
Put up with the wind and fished off the north shore on Sunday. Not a good day as we ended up with only three small Pike. Normally I would have moved more in search of fish however with the wind we pretty much hunkered down in one area. The highlight of the day was watching my bro reel in one of the small Pike's on his panfish rod! Ice was in great shape and trucks driving everywhere. Symba's North Shore provided a great lunch.

RIP to the fisherman that lost his life on Winnebago over the weekend. Prayers are with him and his family and son who is still critical condition. Be safe out there guys. No seat belts and windows down when on ice. If you have electric windows they will short out if they get wet

FISHING REPORT

Ice Depth: 23"
Drove out yesterday and fished from 6-1 and only managed small pike biggest being 22 inches and lots of small gills with one 9 inch crappie. Fished on the West side in 8 feet of water. One the bright side I ended up dropping my iPhone in the lake and the people around me were friendly and nice to talk to when fishing shut down from 10-12. It would be nice coming home with fish to eat from this lake one of these days...

Truck fell through the ice today. It was just outside of the channel near the airport. This guy drove within 10ft of open water. What the heck was he thinking!

Drove my truck out off of kelloggs and fished straight out from spinning wheel. Fished almost all day. Flags were flying all around us but very few of them were mine. We ended up catching 30-40 small gills. Kept 7. Only a handful of flags. 2 northerns biggest was 24. 3 bass biggest was 16. Saw a handful of cars out there as travel conditions are nearly perfect. Saw lots of fish on cam but they were not interested.

Always enjoyed bringing the kids up for the figure 8 tourney. Anyone know of any other kid friendly derbys. No cold cuts this year I guess, lol.

Come on guys, of course the lake is fine to drive out on. There will certainly be hundreds of trucks out there today if you take the time to just go there and look. Not trying to be a hater but sometimes you have to just get in the truck and take a ride to see where to get out on the lake, observe where the most shacks are, and simply follow the roads out to the most popular spots. It will be a zoo out there today so go check it out.
