Chico I was fishing with some kids and left something on the ice the night before. Thanks for being honest and returning my equipment. I really appreciate it. Smile

FISHING REPORT
1/13/13 5:56 PM CST
Ice Depth: 5" Conditions: Cloudy Air Temp: 21° - 25° F
Went out today from 8-11 left for about a hour for lunch. Returned at 12:30 - 5. Caught a few little blue gills other then that very little biting. Tried several different baits and jigs. This lake needs some help with the fish population.

My buddy and I ventured out on Lake George 2 weeks ago and only pulled out a little perch. We were jigging with wax worms. Has anyone caught Northern Pike on tip-ups out there or is it mainly bass for game fish? Also wondering how the ice fairs on this lake. There was about 8" 2 weeks ago. Any insight that can be shared is much appreciated. The lake was vacant the weekend we went out... wondering if this is a sign of not-so-good fishing this time of year on this lake. Just interested in experiences and tips. Will report on how I do. Thanks!

FISHING REPORT
5/8/11 4:40 PM CST
Conditions: Partly Sunny Air Temp: 61° - 65° F
Went up to POA yesterday and spent the night. Spent a grand total of about 4 hours on the lake divided between three different outings.

The only time I had any good action was when I went in the evening. The bass were hitting pretty heavy then. Didn't get anything super huge in the boat, the biggest was 15". And i'd already had dinner and had no way to keep it fresh 'til I got home so this one was CPR'ed.

There are some big bass in Lake George if you can find the right place and right time...

Went out yesterday afternoon with my dad (Reel Finny) and caught a lot of small fish and a couple keepers. Ice was plenty thick where we were (I don't recall how many inches...) Caught a lot of small crappie, perch and blugill. Only a couple keepers. I put up a video of the day here Lake George Fishing

FISHING REPORT
5/24/10 11:04 AM CST
Went to Pride of America Thursday through Sunday, went out on the lake most of the day Friday, it was in the 60's and cloudy and rainy most of the day, and the bass were hittin pretty steady. We brought in probably 20 bass throughout about 4 hours of fishing. Unfortunately they were all about 12". Nothing over 14"...yet.

Mostly used plastics. Purple and green worms worked pretty well, also used some weedless minnows and they worked pretty well too. Rooster tails and spinners/spoons didn't do much. Also the nightcrawlers caught more bass than panfish as well.

Went out on Saturday, it was a lot warmer and the sun was out and the luck wasn't nearly as good. Only a couple panfish and a couple shorty bass. Half the action in the same amount of time.

Ill be spending some time there this year, so hopefully I can come back with a report of the big one i've been waiting for out of Lake Geoge for a while now!

Cool

oh, n sorry no pics, nothing was really worth the time this weekend, hopefully next weekend...
