FISHING REPORT
7/24/15 11:44 AM CST
Fished with my 3 year old last night. Casted some gulp for bass. Caught 10 or so. Not more than 5 boats out last night. Perfect! Anyway, I saw a guy trolling 3 rods out there. I thought the new law is 1 rod per person, 2 per boat on the new trolling lakes. Can someone confirm? Thx

Hi there, I am wondering if you guys could give me some advice about lakes in the Townsend area. I am having my bachelor party on the weekend of the 20th of June and am bringing up over 15 guys for a fishing weekend. We will be staying in Townsend but we would like to catch some fish to eat. Could anyone give me advice on lakes (within 30 minutes from Townsend) that we could fish and catch some meals (perch, crappie or walleye) I want to make the most out of this weekend and your advice would help out a lot.

Is this a good lake? Can someone give me advice on where to fish/what to use?

Please personal message me!!

Caught nothing this week. Was very slow through out the week. Gills are deep and bass were not bitting. Poor week to say the least.

FISHING REPORT
1/27/15 10:24 PM CST
Ice Depth: 17" Conditions: Sleeting Air Temp: 26° - 30° F
Duckslayer I was up last week and fished Wheeler on Friday from 12p-430p. You can drive all over if u have a light truck. We were about 400yds from the west island in 25fow. We had 20 flags using large shiners and a orange spoon with treble on the tip up. Only kept one pike, caught 10, 18 inchers. Marked plenty of fish on the vexilar, with no takers.

I will be up in Townsend this weekend with some friends and wanted to find out conditions on Wheeler Lake. What is the ice depth and are there certain areas better for northerns and panfish?

I'm coming up to fish Wheeler and a few others (Boot, Paya and Munger) on the 24th and 25th. Looking for current ice depths and is there anywhere I should avoid while driving. Thanx in advance.

We will be up with a group of people for our little memorial jamboree. Some of us will be fishing Wheeler Friday. The actual jamboree is Saturday on Waubee. All of us will be at the Beach Club Friday night.
