Will do, and thank you very much for the help. If you ever get to Pool 4 I would surely do the same.

I will email when we get a little closer!

I am staying at a cabin 6 miles north of Sturgeon Bay on the GB side the week of Sept 10th-15th. I am bringing my boat and our cabin is right on the water, we have docking available. I run a 185 Dominator with a 150 so I am not looking at doing 15 mile runs each way. Can someone point me in the right direction for some walleyes near where I am staying or would you suggest trailering to a public landing that has good fishing close by? I will be staying about 1 mile from the olde quarry park landing but willing to travel for a good bite.

I 2 have down riggers and a couple of Dipseys,I was wondering if the salmon run in the shipping channel between GB & Lake Michigan that time of year? What types of lures/baits/set ups/water depth to look for? Would I be better off heading to the lake?

Any pointers on the Walleyes and techniques or locations would be very appreciated. I am a avid fisherman and have all the equipment needed, but I spend most of my time on Pool 4 and have only done the great lakes a couple of times. Once was with a Charter Sturgeon Bay Outdoors and last year I fished the FLW Walleye Tour as a CO in Oconto. looking to give it a whirl by myself this time. Have the Lakemaster WI Chip so I should be able to figure things out if I get pointed in the right direction.

Thanks,

Joe M
