Huge thanks to our guide Cory Ewing, who stuck with it all day and got our group a nice mess of perch, in difficult conditions. Hard working and extremely professional, I would recommend him to anyone!

Here is the latest from Cory Ewing.

Hey Guys and Gal's,

I would first off like to thank everyone who took part in ice fishing with us this winter, limits of jumbo perch came on pretty much a daily basis! With only about a month left in our ice fishing season, Its time to start thinking about open water walleye's, perch, small-mouth bass and big northern pike. I expect to see record numbers of fish boated per day this year, our game fish and parks survey's show that the number of 16 to 24 inch walleyes in the lakes this fall were at an all time high and I can't wait to start putting them in the boat! My calendar is starting to fill up fast and I don't want anyone to miss out on the 2013 open water fishing season dates of his or her choice so please book early. If you have any question's at all you can reply to this email or call me at most anytime @ 605-929-3894. Looking forward to seeing some old friends and making new ones this summer!

P.S. the best ice fishing bite of the winter is upon us and we do still have openings in march.

Thanks in advance,

Cory Ewing

braved the 20-30mph winds and a lot of doubt and took boat out, took girlfriends 10yr old with me. started out at ska's point but 2 1/2 foot caps made it not so manageable. went to school bus point area. wind/waves not a bunch better, but worked the point with lindy, jig, and split shot with hook, al with minnows, jig and split shot worked best, tanner an i both got our limit 14-17" and yes tanner got his share Cool we both lost a bunch hard to feel bite, boat control, battery bout dead for troller, need to get drift sock! anywho fished from 1-3 pm, the bite on this lake is unreal!!!!! from what i see with water levels and the quality of fish i dont think this bite will end any time soon. most fish were spiting up worm like looking things, quite small, some minnows.
