Fished this lake on the 26th of August and got about 10 Northerns. Most of them were in the 2-3 lbs range. Rain and storms that day and day before I think made the fishing not as productive. We started late in the day and had motor troubles so that contributed to the lack of catching more.

I heard some stories about this honey hole. Any action out there this season yet at all? Largemouth especially.

I hate to do this and get people's hopes up that there are actually reports on all of these threads. However, I am planning on traveling out here from Illinois for the week before Memorial Day, and would like to know some information about fishing this lake, and other lakes in the black hills region. Please feel free to message me if you don't want everybody to know about your favorite fishing holes. Thanks in advance for your help.

Eric
