Good fishing lake crappie, bluegill, bullhead, channel cat, common carp, flathead cat, sunfish, hybrid striped bass, largemouth bass, muskellunge, northern pike, rainbow trout, saugeye, smallmouth bass, walleye, and white bass. Rated lake 10hsp max, although for the 2011 season the hsp cap will be changed to 30hsp max. Shallow lake with an average depth of 5.5' to 6' deep, although just southeast of the marina the lake drops to 27' deep and I have found that later in the summer and into the fall this is a hotspot for fishing. North of OH 430 near the mouth of the blackfork is your best bet in spring and early summer. The lake is 1,350 acres with 24.8 miles of shoreline with two boat launches.
