Headed up to Lake George this weekend to try our luck at getting some fish for a fish fry, AGAIN!! things started off slow but got going later in the afternoon, we fished Coon tail in 10 to 15 feet of water, all the fish we put into the live Came from the tops of the coontail flats, Crappie minnows and Wax worms worked best, I did try small Leeches, But with not much luck, On lake George do not give up if fishing is slow for you, Keep moving around looking for Cabbage weed flats or Coon tail flats, and a small glow firefly jigs worked for us under a slip bobber,

This year we went to lake George to open for walleyes and anything the may be biting at the time, we had lots of wind on opening day. But did get some fish to bite through the day. Not the hottest day for walleyes. But we found some Crappies and sunny, Most of the fish where in the 10 to 14 Foots range, and the walleyes that we did get where still hanging in and around the old weeds beds and Cabbage beds, Jig and minnow was the best way to get the walleyes, and slip bobber and a small jig tipped with a wax worm worked best for the pan fish.
