Crane lake (all postings)

Heading up with the wife and five kids (5-12 age range) in mid august. Any suggestions on what type of artifical baits to use for walleyes and northerns?

sorry just looking for info..heading up to crane/sand point on Thursday....any info on the bite would be great...interested in slab crappies and northern pike...been 20 years since last visit

It should be good for all fishing. Its a real hunk of water. In case you aren't aware Muskie's have migrated from Vermillion and there are some 50 plus incher's in there now. For more info google Mn Dnr Lake finder and get a map of the lake and some fishing info.

How did you do on Crane lake? My wife and I are heading up there September 26th through the 30th for our anniversary and I was wondering how your trip went up there? We will be at Pine Point Lodge.

I am headed up to Crane Lake for my honeymoon from the 11th thru the 15th. Anyone have suggestions as to where to catch some walleyes and northerns?
