Never done this before, but I am new to the Duluth area... accepted a new opportunity for work. I am looking for some fishing buddies. I have all of my gear except the auger lol wont have it for a month. No room in the car. Was wondering if anyone is looking for someone to fish with, or any advice on lakes in the Duluth area. Love pan fish and have never really been able to fish for walleyes, so looking forward to hooking into a few. Let me know of any interest!
11 months left dnr then bye bye the people will speak .you will lose your jobs for your ultra concervative walleye ideoligy.did you ever think maybe your slots and trophy lake size limits .might be the problem.ever notice the best years for fish to make it to adulthood was the lower walleye years 12 13 14 .omg bye.

Fished last Thursday through Saturday. We boated one 40 inch Muskie. We saw a couple big girls but no luck getting them to bite. One was pushing mid 50s. Fished with big cranks for awhile and got some pike, couple walleye, and a smallie. The biggest pike was bout 34. Pretty slow but a good experience to be on this body of water for the first time.
I will be fishing this lake over the weekend with some friends. This will be our first time here. We are targeting Muskie mainly and we have a game plan for that but We'd also like to catch some fish to eat sometime over the weekend. Since walleye is out of the question and it says no live bait I am looking for advice on where to find perch and what to use. In the past I have jigged plastics and been successful in some smaller lakes back in Wisconsin but any advice for this big body would be helpful, Please PM me with any info. If nothing else we will eat some pike but I heard there are some nice perch in these waters and would like to get on some.
Thanks In advance! I will post a report on how the fishing went.
