Fished from noon to 1/2 hour before dark on third pond. Had hard time finding big gills. Dont think the little ones would let bait get down to the bigger ones near bottom. Did catch alot of small ones. Was able to pick up some keeper crappies towards evening on minnows. Caught some keeper gills on either leeches or night crawlers. Like always caught several bass. Only one keeper at 17 inches all released. Luck to all great time fishing here.

I was fishing on the left side of the dike on the way in yesterday. Only caught 3-5 inch gills. Only hit my wax worms. I caught nothing on small minnows. I fished from 4 PM to 8:30.

Has anyone else been doing any good on larger gills 7+ inches and perch?

I am going to try the first pond later this afternoon.
