Fished the same spot just off the West boat ramp again. About 12' - 16' of water. Set up at 6 am, but no bites until 7. Action was decent most of the morning, then tapered around 10. Good action from noon until 2, then pretty dead until 4. The bass that were biting last week were just looking this week. Fished with minnows on two lines all day and only caught one bluegil on them. Fish would come up and bump them, but wouldn't take the minnows. Did manage to get another real nice perch, but not as big as the one last week. I should have weighed the last one, but didn't think of it.

Will probably be back sometime this week. Would love to know where they fish for walleyes. Probably going to be a bit more mobile and search the lake this time.

Fished Brushy Creek for the first time today. Got there about 6:30 this morning and setup off the Southeast ramp. Was a bit shocked to find out we set up in 50+ feet of water. Moved the west ramp and fished the trees to the North side of it. Caught 8 nice bluegils and few small ones, 6 largemouth, and a few perch (one was 15" and should have went on the wall). Saw one very large muskie on the Aquavu that seemed interested in the camera. Had to work for them a bit, but the action was decent. Will definitely be back.
