Fished from 1-430. Nothing my grandfather had something break his line and that was it. Guys leaving when we got there had a bass and that was it all day they said. Ice is a good 4-6 inches were we were fishing. Probably heading somewhere else tomorrow.

Was wondering how the ice was on the lake? Was wanting to try some fishin, but got an hour drive up to the lake. Just wanted to make sure we had good ice before we make the trip. Any ifo we be great. Thanks!

Does anyone fish this lake? Buddy and i are looking for a place to go around the end of the month and with all this warm crappy weather looks like its going to be hard to find ice around the quad cities. Thought a little further north may give us a better chance. Weather was looking colder up that way. Any reports as the weeks go by would be appreciated.

Caught 4 small bass around resort and dam on plastic from shore. water still a bit high and cloudy from rain. small bluegill & crappie starting to bit better, bigger ones should follow soon I hope GL. RT
