FISHING REPORT
5/17/13 8:33 PM CST
Pro-Shoreliner, pm sent. Spent today with some really good guys. The fishing was not fast and furious but we were persistent and picked up some nice fish. Some very nice eyes in the slot. Biggest was 22" and we did get three more for the livewell. We ran into a bunch of shorts a nice pike, a few LM bass, a SM bass and of course a bunch of drum. Tossed for skis for a bit with no takers. Weather is really dictating the bite right now.

Hey guys sorry this isn't a report but I would appreciate tips on fishing from a boat for walleye, whitebass, or crappie without a fishfinder. I'm taking my kid along so I would like him to have a fun day on the water. Post or pm me please any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks and tight lines!!! Will post if anything is going on on the water!

Got out today for a couple hrs should still be out but what are you gonna do. 3 short eyes, 5 white bass, (2 were about 12inchs) 1 crappie, 3 bass, and to many to count yellow bass. all luck on rooster tail (ill tell you what I use cant give out the color showen in pics haha) and any type of cover was key to finding fish. Anyone know where all these yellow bass came from? idk much about them are they good eating? whats a good size? seems I catch more of them then bluegills this yr!

FISHING REPORT

If you fish often enough, there will be somedays when you plain out get your butt kicked by the fish. I feel as tho yesterday was one of those days. We started up north and worked our way down. We fished channel, Cathy, Marie, bluff, spring, petite, North river, and grass. We ended the day with a few slot walleye, a few shorts a nice flathead, a ton of drum, and two muskies lost. Not exactly stellar but on the high side, we had a good time doing it and laughed a lot! Headed to Madison today to fish with my vendor and friends from Esox Assualt Muskie baits. Tomorrow I'm back on the Fox Chain in search of musky and eyes. Will give report.

Got out Thursday on the Chain in search of muskies and walleyes. Ended up with a limit of eyes and 1 over the slot that was released and 2 muskies. Small and slow is the key right now. Got a few pics too.

Can you fish from shore, or is it closed completely? Looking to fish near the boat launch by the state park.

crappie going in channels if you know some one with access otherwise the chain is still closed, sat fishing was slow mid day didn't get out early, today sunday morning hooked or missed a fish every cast, then I quit was tired from action about 11am went back out about 3 nothing dead three undersized fish in about 2 hours then tried before dark nothing again ,was fishing nothing but jigs no bait at all, color did not seem to matter, water is down a foot and looks to be dropping 3 to 4 inches aday now at that rate assumming no big rains you may get a boat in the water next weekend ,but drawdown may slow down if water has been running over the dam, have not been there to see check with fox waterways before heading out.ALL FISH RELEASED this time.
