Does anyone know if the derby on the chain on the 13th and 14th is paying out for big fish for each fish. The flyer only says hourly prizes for big and small fish. They use to pay $50.00 for each category of fish at the end on Sunday..Thanks SD

Why We Walk on Water Walk on Water is an annual Ice Fishing Derby to help raise money for the Andrea Lynn Cancer Fund. These funds used to provide grants to families that are receiving cancer treatments and struggling to make ends meet. There are many other charities out there to help find a cure for cancer; we feel our funds are best used to provide direct financial support to local families. The Andrea Lynn Cancer Fund partners with the Centegra Sage Cancer Center in McHenry, IL to help identify cancer patients eligible to apply for financial assistance grants.

Join us for the 12th Annual Derby In preparation for the 12th Annual Walk on Water Tournament we wanted to post some reminders on Parking and Derby Rules and General House Keeping. Parking is available at Lindy’s, Homer T. Cook Park, and Slice. No Trailer Parking at Lindy’s

Homer Cook is the primary launch location for participants with trailers and machines. The park is located north of Lindy’s off of Main St. The trail to access the lake is in good shape and is well marked. If you park at Docks, please know that you are parking at your own risk and may be charged a fee unrelated to our event.

was here thursday was pretty much dead on north end didn't try the flats and the only place I found that has been drilled alot was outside the south point of huckers bay and inside the north point of huckers the snow was gone and creepers are a must ice is good where I was but I don't go where I think their could be thin ice, The ice is anywhere from 8 to 14 where I have been on the north end.I drill 6 to 8 holes anywhere I fish to start most days tried 4 spots I would expect to find fish with very little luck......

FISHING REPORT
1/26/16 3:13 PM CST
Ice Depth: 10" Conditions: Cloudy Air Temp: 31° - 35° F
My Son and I fished north end Sunday all day. Caught 23 gills 1-10"crappie and 1- 9" perch. We used wax Worms and Spikes. Had to hole hop to catch fish. Water was murky. Several people around us had over 30 gills and some had over 40. Saw 2 small yellow airplanes land on the ice, stay about an hour, then take off. That was pretty cool. One guy told us his buddies were fishing Lake Marie and caught many White Bass (no exact number) a few Catfish and a few short Walleyes. My cousin and I are headed out Wednesday to Marie to find out whats going on and my Son and hopefully my Grand Daughter are going out again Saturday. Be SAFE out there and have FUN!!! See you on the Ice
