MOON PHASE
Full Moon

CONDITIONS
Cloudy

ICE DEPTH

Out on Channel Lake trying to look for walleye and all I could find were really aggressive tiny perch and yellow bass. Got one 14" crappie which was a nice surprise.

Found some hard bottom in 10 - 15fow within 300ft of Thirsty Turtle and some deeper holes further north. Tried Musky Tales the next day same thing. I had tipups set and a jigging rod with fatheads hole hopping. Tungsten Jigs in glow and fire tiger tipped with fatheads and jigging spoons.

Can't seem to find any walleye on Channel after going out 4 days in a row. Everyone I talked to was on dinky gills and bass.

Definitely not the same lake I remember from 10 years ago.

Anything I'm missing these days?

Other than the Turtle, is there any other options for paid parking/access to Channel Lake? Many thanks / Cheers

I was on the south end.  Any reports on how the ice is holding up to today's weather?
