Went out here yesterday. Stole the old bass boat from my father. Lake was real busy. We got on about 1pm. Fished Tamarack bay only got one pike about 27". Tryed for bass under peirs after that. Only picked up 3. Wrong time of the day to go, but I still enjoyed it.

Went out fishing with my father for his birthday. We fished the south side bays because the wind was strong out there. We managed about 30 bass using 6" yum dingers and wave worms. I rigged mine wacky style using an 1/8 oz. jig head instead of a hook and split shot. Worked very well. I managed the biggest of the day, 18" Large mouth. After the bass I went after the Crappies. Im happy to see they have got a little bigger. I did manage to get 4 nice gills in between that were about 9". Very good day on the water. Cool

Found a nice bunch after work tonight. They're still popping up here, some were 6"+ and some were too small to pick yet.

I didn't make it out to the last meeting, but my father didn't hear any body speak up from lake-link. uuuuuhmmm? Makes me wounder if "green boat" or "walleyered85" was there. Lips Sealed

Good fishing Saturday while the wind was strong and it was stormy, but slow on Sunday with the high pressure conditions. Nothing beats having our own "private pond", Mr. Kish. Fish aren't as "flavorful" out here in God's country as the ones "marinating" in local rivers but we can spice them up with other seasonings. And our bass population is really hard to beat. Sweating

Sounds to me like a few people need to leave the comfort of their stocked private pond, where scuba divers probably put the fish on the hook for you. You should get out into the wild and enjoy the nature and peace. Maybe chase a few current strong smallies. It doesn't sound very peaceful at Summerset.

For fishin pole and here, fishyfishy why do you feel that you have to report on everybody that fishes Summerset from the outside on how it upsets you personally, and then you have to stand behind lsfishclub so you can stick your chest out and say that your going to make them change the rules to suit you. Now if that's not having a life I don't know what one is then. You guys continue making yourself look like idiots and I'm going to continue fishing. Kiss

i read all the reports and understand very clearly....maybe u guys need some more time on the lake and less time on the com. and then maybe you'll talk more about fishing....i find it funny that i'm the one that dont understand what he said in the letter...maybe you should read it again (walleyered85)....it was pretty clear that most of it was about outsiders and not spouting off about members.....well i could say so much more....anyway good luck at the meeting fishy fishy there is alot of members that want the rule to be over turned and lots of good honest fishermen that would like to see it changed too..........F.P.
