For fishin pole and here, fishyfishy why do you feel that you have to report on everybody that fishes Summerset from the outside on how it upsets you personally, and then you have to stand behind lsfishclub so you can stick your chest out and say that your going to make them change the rules to suit you. Now if that's not having a life I don't know what one is then. You guys continue making yourself look like idiots and I'm going to continue fishing. Kiss

i read all the reports and understand very clearly....maybe u guys need some more time on the lake and less time on the com. and then maybe you'll talk more about fishing....i find it funny that i'm the one that dont understand what he said in the letter...maybe you should read it again (walleyered85)....it was pretty clear that most of it was about outsiders and not spouting off about members.....well i could say so much more....anyway good luck at the meeting fishy fishy there is alot of members that want the rule to be over turned and lots of good honest fishermen that would like to see it changed too..........F.P.

Fishin pole, you have to read his remarks about running to the lsfishclub and spouting off about everybody but the landowners are breaking the rules, while he breaks the rules himself. You should have read all of the post before you make a stupid comment like you did. I can tell you don't understand what you read. Or your a friend or related to here fishyfishy. Doh!

well have not been on here in awhile but reading all these posts about whats going on.....all i can say is wow........i liked the letter fishy,fishy,....now as for the guys on here that want to see u get fined well they must have a real boring life or maybe none at all.....so what if someone stayed a lil after dark...did it affect u guys did it hurt u directly?.....i cant stand cry babies that just want to go tell on other people...u guys make it sound like the guy was out on the ice dealing drugs for peats sake...grow up guys....like i said before the after dark rule in the winter only sucks thats why ive only been out there once instead of 7veral times last winter...ive been fishing this lake for 20 years and lived out there for 7 of them and know sooooooooo many people that have moved out of there because of alot of silly rules....anyway if they change that rule on that night fishing let me know fishy fishy...........thanks and stay safe.......F.P.

WELL PUT LSA Guest, I myself, could afford to pay $500.00 per year, but not get property at the moment. I think that Idea would benifit the lake allot. I sent another letter to lsfishclub stating that I liked the idea. I didn't go out this afternoon like I wanted too. I ended up going to the back waters of the ol mighty Rock River (see that post if intrested) As for you guys threatening to take me to the board or get some fine put on me, because you can't read right and understand were I was coming from, good luck with that one. I think your full of it. Come out from behind your computer screens. I really don't think you would talk to me like that face 2 face. (green boat, walleyered85) To the rest of you that are being very supportive to me and Lake Summerset, I thank you and am glad there is nice people out there to fish with.

Sounds to me as though this new proposal is meant to keep people out. All because of very selfish reasons. Lake Summerset is an asset. If manged proporly it could generate large revenue and many nice fish, too . I, as a guest, would pay good $ to use the lake & its facilities like beach & pool. $500 is a small price to pay to be able to catch nice fish and have fun with the kids. In the same respect it couldn't be invatation only, it would be a buy in 1 year at a time. As far as a guest causing problems with minnows and trash, I have fished Summerset over 30 times this year and often picked up the little trash that there was. I was never checked by the lake patrol or the dnr. In fact, I have only been checked 3 times in 15 years perhaps the buy in people could pay all lot dues or create lots of $ for other projects in the lake. 100 people buying in could create $50,000.00 plus concessions and more. This would help fix the roads ,stock the lake add beaches or pools maybe even pay for a lake patrol that would stop people from doing the bad or pay large fines. And that would be more $ for the lake & its people

just a thought but it makes sense!

Was out with the Lake Planning commitee this morning doing some water analysis. Still more than a foot of ice way down on the west end where the water is only 6 feet deep. From what my feedback has shown, 90% of the folks responding to the rules change are not concerned about people breaking the rules as much as the principle of the matter about having to pay $580 in dues for the priveledge of having a gated fishing community vs. someone paying $50 for the annual pass for the same fishing rights. Would a guest be willing to pay $500? Don't know. Worried

For here, fishyfishy it's do as I say and not as I do. That post of him admitting to staying out past hours should and will be brought to the attention of the Association for further review. Angry

Fishy fishy; the rules are the rules. did your dad get assessed the fine? This change was well thought out by some of our most dedicated ls fishermen at Lake summerset. Did a security officer inform you what time it was? If they did and no fine was given; that ociffer should loose their job. Pay the fine anyway; you'll feel good. turn yourself in. I think its only a thosand dollars or so. We could use the stocking fund doe. I was out last night at the road bed and got skunked; using waxies and minnows. Stayed out till 10 pm cause I can-----------------------------H

I find you people to be funny that are bashing me for my post. Im tryin to voice an opinion to the LS fishing club, cause thats what they wanted from people. They didn't have a problem with it, and actually was happy and agreed with me. Are you people even land owners out there? It cracks me up that I got this kind of responce. Good fishing to all, and really hope to see you out there. Go to lsfishclub.org to see what I was talkin about. And come to the next meeting.
