I drove out yesterday and there were some brave souls in tents out there. I cant imagine the shorelines are holding up still with all this rain and warmer weather, and todays wind will really put a beating on it.

Finally made it out sunday for a couple hours. Put over 70 small perch into the hoo haven bucket. Took about 10 keepers home one just about 12 inches. Hoping that everyone is putting a dent into this perch problem we have right now, funny i never thought perch problem would ever come out of my mouth.
Ice was really thick still but i wonder what this rain and warm weather will do.
Anyone having any luck other than the little perch
What were u using for bait I'm going to be fishing This lake next weekend and heard no live baits allowed. Any help would be greatly appreciated my coworker owns a house there but never fishes so I'm going in blind .

Was out yesterday and the water from Tamerack bay towards the creek is very dirty cloudy.
Shorelines had very thin ice going out 2-10 feet in spots. For the most part guys didn't have trouble getting on all over the lake.
The bluegill bite was really good and the crappie came through but not in big schools. Didn't really fish for perch yesterday. Kept 3 bluegill, two at 9 inches and one at 10. Also kept 6 Crappie between 11-12 inches.
Ice seemed to be 12-15 inches just about everywhere I (about 20 holes spread out) drilled. I did not fish by the damn so I'm not sure about ice thickness down there.....F.P.
